The Way of the Cross is Hard

In some alone times, I reflected on, when you are Marked by God, the way of The Cross is hard.
Perhaps “Hard” is too easy of a word to describe The Cross and what it does to your flesh.
During death of your flesh, there is hopelessness, depression, feeling of abandonment, loneliness, isolation, so many tears, sorrow, brokenness, despair, all the while the enemy of your soul without any mercy or regard, will relentlessly attack your mind.
Why you question and wonder and say perhaps?
He is the snake, the serpent, the lover of lies who hates Truth.
Once you have your flesh completely crushed on your personal cross of death, your spirit-man can enter into the realm of Truth — Absolute Truth, that no demon from hell can rip out of you or away from you.
You see, you are bought with a high price, the death of God’s only Son bought you, paid for you, claims you, and will never ever ever let you go.
He Mark’s you as His Own, not just while you are in the earthly realm, but Marks you as His for all Eternity.
No demon, no serpent, no devil, no power from all of hell can steal you back and bring you back into his world of delusions and lies in Babylon.
The Revelation of Truth, which is The Spirit of God — Who is Truth — He reveals to you and He Loves you so much that once you see, once you hear and once you’ve been brought into God’s Chambers through the Veil, into His Inner Court of The Holy of Holies.
No matter how hard and longsuffering the narrow path is, you can never return to the kingdom of lies, which is temporal.
It is a hard, hard, hard walk to be Chosen and Called, Marked, Called-out to come walk upon the water and go to your Father.
It takes Faith — that’s all that you have.
The Storms will rage, the Fires will become hotter, everything that you’ve known, loved, cherished, and dearly loved will all be removed.
“Why?” you ask!
Because then — and only then — will your eyes only be focused on Him and Him alone.
His Will, His Way, His Life is now all you know.
He has become your only desire of your heart and your desire is to do The Will of your Father — and then alone, He will truly be your First Love.
No other idols, no other loves will be on The Throne of your heart but Him.
You see, these are His few, His Remnant, those who have sought Him with all of their heart will find him, and will know this God Who hides Himself — then He will be found.
Husbands, wives, family, friends, will all fall away from you when you are on this narrow path.
Unless you are Marked by Him, you do not understand The Call that this God of the entire Universe, The Creator Who simply said, “Let there be light!” and it was — the I AM to Moses, The Alpha and Omega in Revelation, the very breath of all life.
Who can begin to understand or comprehend Him and His Ways. Job didn’t!
To summarize, The Truth is now: “I no longer live, but Christ alone lives in and through me!” (Galatians 2:20)
This is what it is when you are Marked by God, set apart, lifted up high into Him, to see as He Sees, hear as He Hears, and love as He Loves.
Remember the disciples who followed Jesus…
Yes, we are climbing! The peak is ahead, and when we get to the top of Mount Zion we will see the glorious horizon of the sun/Son coming up, shining His Light upon our faces as we behold Him!

I could not have written my experiences any better. The good Lord will also have us connect with our loved ones at the right time. The distraction and their lack of understanding of our Call would not have helped us. Thank you so much for blessing me with your post.
Blessings to you dear Patti.
Speaking my heart, sister! This path is so so hard but I’m grateful are same time! To know that I’m chosen. Wow. How?! I can’t wait to see what our suffering brings us with Him in His kingdom.
Dear Patti,
Kept in bed again, suffering greatly physically which has been my lot for soo long now, clinging to him just by faith, having gone through so much already, – it truly is hard.
I do not know when I will ever reach the point of total Breaking, giving up on all self-pity…
For Job finally God‘s mercy broke through..
