The Seal of The LORD Is Coming: Are You Quickened?
“Then those who feared The LORD spoke to one another, and The LORD listened and heard them, so a book of remembrance was written before Him. For those who fear The LORD and who meditate on His name.
“They shall be Mine,” says The LORD of hosts, “On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.
Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God; and one who does not serve Him.”” Malachi 3:16-18.
The Scriptures gives us such a profound access into the ways of The LORD for the times and seasons we live in — a time of unprecedented shaking of the earth — both by the proceeding righteous judgments of The LORD, and on the permitted trials of the enemy.
In Revelation 9, we see shakings being determined to come upon the earth.
One shaking was shown to come from the forces of darkness emerging from the bottomless pit, another shaking was to come from the Four Angels of The LORD that stood by the River Euphrates.
The Judgments of The LORD, and the torments by demonic forces from the pit of hell were coming upon the earth simultaneously — but in the midst of these, a people were spared; and these were those who had the seal of The LORD on their foreheads.
The first shaking revealed to come being from the demonic forces of the pit of hell as seen in Revelation 9:1-11 shows this;
“Then the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them. The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men. They had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle. They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months. And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.”
The second shaking revealed to come; being from the Angels of The LORD as seen in Revelation 9:13-18 shows this;
“Then the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed — by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm. But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.”
Quite stunning to see that these two shakings, one being the righteous judgments from The LORD on immorality and sin; and the other being the torment from the demonic forces of hell were happening simultaneously.
In the midst of these shakings, there are a people who dwelt yet on the earth to whom instructions was given that they be sealed with the seal of The Living God.
“After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”” Revelation 7:1-3.
With the seal of The Living God on their foreheads, the tormentor from the bottomless pit, and the angelic executors of the righteous judgments of The LORD would not come near them, touch them or do them harm.
Again, we see this pattern revealed in Ezekiel 9.
Right before the release of Angels to execute the judgments of The LORD, sealing Angels were sent to go forth in the land and seal the people of God, a people whom The Scriptures said they sighed and cried regarding the abominations of sin that were taking place.
“Then He called out in my hearing with a loud voice, saying, “Let those who have charge over the city draw near, each with a deadly weapon in his hand.” And suddenly six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his battle-ax in his hand. One man among them was clothed with linen and had a writer’s inkhorn at his side. They went in and stood beside the bronze altar. Now the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub, where it had been, to the threshold of the temple. And He called to the man clothed with linen, who had the writer’s inkhorn at his side; and The LORD said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.” To the others He said in my hearing, “Go after him through the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity. Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary.” So they began with the elders who were before the temple.” Ezekiel 9:1-6.
The same pattern also we see revealed in the time of Lot and the judgments determined upon Sodom and Gomorrah
“…and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly, and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds) — then The LORD knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority.” 2 Peter 2:6-10.
The Kingdom of The LORD Jesus Christ in its administration of Righteousness and justice has seasons where justice and judgments determined for individuals, families, churches, cities and nations in The Kingdom are dispensed.
Prior to the release of the Angels of The LORD that executed the judgments of The LORD; the Sealing Angels of The LORD were sent as we see in Ezekiel 9, Revelations 9 to seal a people identified by The LORD as having stood for Righteousness and sighed against the abominations of sin.
We see this also in the deliverance of The Children of Israel in Exodus 12, when The LORD instructed them to kill the Passover lamb, and strike the blood on the door post as a seal and a sign so when the Angel comes to execute the sentence of death on the first born of Egypt; the seal of the blood will be a sign to the Angel to pass over that house.
‘For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment, I AM The LORD. Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.” Exodus 12:12-14.
This is extremely significant.
There are times and seasons when shakings are determined to come from The LORD.
These shakings can be the release of The Executing Angels of The LORD to implement the judgments of The LORD; or times of permitted trials of the tormentor from the bottomless pit.
Either way, times of shakings are preceded by The LORD releasing the Sealing Angels, who go forth to seal a people who have borne a good testimony — of standing in Righteousness and sighing for the abominations of sin.
The Father speaking about The LORD JESUS in Hebrews 1:8-9 said this;
“But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of Righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You have loved Righteousness and hated lawlessness, therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”
This is very important!
The testimony of loving Righteousness and hating lawlessness, was what brought the anointing and seal.
In Ezekiel 9:4 : The instruction to The Sealing Angel was to put a mark on all those that sighed, cried, disapproved of all the abominations of sin that was taking place.
In 2 Peter 2:6-10 : We see that Lot was saved from the judgments of Sodom, because his soul was vexed, displeased, disapproving of the sinful lifestyles that are taking place.
In Malachi 3:16-18 : We see that those whose names were written in The Book of Remembrance were those who feared The LORD, and the writing of their names was a separation from those who were considered as wicked and not serving The LORD.
Time and time again; The Scriptures reveal the ordinances of The LORD for being sealed in such a time.
The seal was to come to those who bore a righteous testimony of The Fear of The LORD — in loving Righteousness and in disapproving of the abominations of sin.
The LORD began to say to me, we “can no longer be indifferent or be silent to the abominations of sin taking place that is defiling peoples, Churches and Nations.”
Our “approval or disapproval of sin is going on the record.”
Likewise our, “love-walk in righteous reverence to The LORD Jesus Christ is going on the record.”
We live in times when sin is being sold as desirable and admirable, and without knowing, many have expressed their admiration for things and people that are emissaries of sin — unknowingly giving approval for lifestyle choices of sin.
In this Word For The Month, The LORD is calling His Own to take a stand in this time, to be intentional in our love, and walk in Righteousness, and our disdain and disapproval for the abominations of sin taking place in our cities, churches and nations.
For through this, we will obtain a report worthy of being granted The Seal of The Living God that will keep us from being touched by the shakings coming upon the earth in this time and season.
Through The Seal of The LORD on our foreheads, we will be counted as the Jewels of The LORD JESUS, when The LORD begins to move across all Nations, to raise up a people and a Standard of Righteousness, to steward the treasures of The Kingdom, for all The Kingdom of The LORD Jesus Christ must accomplish in this time and season.
It is time to be counted!
By your admiration of people, things and lifestyle presentations in the world, you will be approving or disapproving of sin, and by your walk and love for Righteousness, you will be approving or disapproving of Righteousness.
For when The Book of Remembrance be written, and The Sealing Angels of The LORD be released into the earth, what will be recorded of you?
We are in a time when The Book of Remembrance is being opened to be written in, and the Sealing Angels are receiving marching orders to seal the people of The LORD to keep them immune from the shakings coming upon the earth.
Will you denounce, disapprove, and sigh at the abominations of sin?
Will you walk in the love for Righteousness, and be counted as one of the Jewels of The LORD, to be sealed for a new season of work in The Kingdom of The LORD Jesus Christ?
As for me, I denounce and disapprove wholly of every abomination of sin, and I yield completely to The Spirit of The LORD Jesus Christ to lead me deeper in my love-walk of Righteousness.
What sayest thou?
