To be reformed, we must lay down the former.
As a caterpillar moves into the pupa, it trusts its creator to go forward, to break it down and rest in that place until it is ready to be birthed and come out with freedom.
It is a painful place of change and breakdown yet, the emerging butterfly is birthed.
It comes forth yet it isn’t used to its wings, but it waits as the breath of the wind dries them and brings them to a place it never knew possible, to fly in freedom!
“Your crucifixion with Christ has severed the tie to this life, and now your true life is hidden away in God in Christ. And as Christ himself is seen for who he really is, who you really are will also be revealed, for you are now one with him in his glory!” Colossians 3:3-4.
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1.
Know that the reforming and birthing is painful and exhausting yet, look at those wings beloved! 😊
