Warfare Briefing: “Psalm 144 Protects People”
It was one of those palpable, energising Encounters that leave pleasantly lingering, exhorting effects on one’s Spiritual fervour.
In a dream on 18 May 2026, I heard: “Psalm 144 protects people!”
Earlier in the night, the enemy had again attempted another attack against me; and, in response, I went into VERY VIOLENT counter-attack warfare — striking, smashing and crushing him and all the principalities and powers (named and unnamed, known and unknown) with The Rock, The Stone and The Great Mountain (see 1 Corinthians 10:4; Daniel 2:34-35).
Fiercely, I struck them down and slew them with The Nails and The Spear The LORD was wounded and pierced with on The Cross.
I also again profusely prayed The LORD to cover me with His Feathers, and that under His Wings I take Refuge (see Psalm 91). And then I had the dream.
Note that, before I had the dream, The Weapons I used in my warfare prayers included “The Rock” (The Rock is Christ; see 1 Corinthians 10:4).
And guess what?
Psalm 144 (which I dreamt when I went back to sleep after the warfare prayers, opens with “Blessed [is] YHWH my Rock…”
Remember that, before the dream, I had just been battling in warfare.
And what does verse one of the psalm say?
“Blessed [is] YHWH my Rock, || Who is teaching My hands for war, || My fingers for battle.”
Although, previously, I sometimes prayed Psalm 144, it is most reassuring and reverential that The LORD is expressly, by this dream, saying to be praying It to protect us. Yes, to preserve and prosper us in these end times.
Hallelu-YAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS!
I now pray It (Psalm 144) every night in addition to Psalms 91, 23, etc. before going to bed.
Please, I encourage you to also do so.
The days are increasingly exceedingly evil, as such, as led by The Holy Spirit, we must deploy the Weapons in our Arsenal — The Whole Armour of God (Ephesians 6:11-13).
Psalms 144:1-15 LSV
“BY DAVID. Blessed [is] YHWH my Rock, || Who is teaching My hands for war, || My fingers for battle. My kind one, and my bulwark, || My tower, and my deliverer, || My shield, and in whom I have trusted, || Who is subduing my people under me! YHWH, what [is] man that You know him? The son of man, that You esteem him? Man has been like a breath, || His days [are] as a shadow passing by. YHWH, incline Your heavens and come down, || Strike against mountains, and they smoke. Send forth lightning, and scatter them, || Send forth Your arrows, and trouble them, Send forth Your hand from on high, || Free me, and deliver me from many waters, || From the hand of sons of a stranger, Because their mouth has spoken vanity, || And their right hand [is] a right hand of falsehood. O God, I sing to You a new song, || I sing praise to You on a stringed instrument of ten strings. Who is giving deliverance to kings, || Who is freeing His servant David [NB. Here, use your name instead] from The Sword of evil. Free me, and deliver me || From the hand of sons of a stranger, || Because their mouth has spoken vanity, || And their right hand [is] a right hand of falsehood, Because our sons [are] as plants, || Becoming great in their youth, || Our daughters as hewn stones, || Polished—the likeness of a palace, Our granaries [are] full, bringing out from kind to kind, || Our flocks are bringing forth thousands, || Ten thousands in our out-places, Our oxen are carrying, there is no breach, || And there is no outgoing, || And there is no crying in our broad places. O the blessedness of the people that is thus, || O the blessedness of the people whose God [is] YHWH!”
“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.
“Farewell” Acts 15:29.
~ Jacob Addison Awagah
Jacob, an apostle of JESUS CHRIST by The Will of GOD, according to The Promise of Life Which is in CHRIST JESUS, (2 Timothy 1:1).
Like John, I like to put my head to The Heart of JESUS so as to know and do His Will always. What’s in His Heart is what matters now and FOREVER. His Heart’s Desire is my only desire. My will is to do His Will.
As John was, I am the disciple whom JESUS loves. And like Paul, I am “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
NB. Surely, the disciple whom JESUS loves and “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS”, like ALL The Promises of GOD, are available to every believer to obtain, just as John and Paul did.
“And having been perfected, He [JESUS] became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
