We Make Our Choices and Our Choices Make Us! — 5 Comments

  1. Dear Pamie, As the Lord spoke to me that I history has prepared us for these times, I thought of you and especially that part that followed ” History repeats itself”. This is a time your kids will remember as they watch you weather the Storm, and they will always remember how you prayed, stood firm, holding God’s hand and trusting Him and never wavering as HE led you through it all! Hugsy friend. In His love, Sandi

  2. Wow! What a powerful statement: The Church must change from being an audience to being an Army! That sentence hit me RIGHT between the eyes! Sadly, in my experience over nearly 50 years of walking with the Lord, the Body of Christ presently seems resembles a MASH unit on Battlefield Earth, with wounded people who will not let the Holy Spirit in to heal and deliver from all evil. Not always, but increasingly, the Lord has healed me to such a complete level that it almost seems as if various wounds happened to someone else. The sting is gone. Walking wounded unfortunately do not make a very effective ARMY of GOD. The day is coming fast when one’s very life may depend on how fully he/she cooperates with the Lord and listens with an obedient heart. The Lord has called me as a Watchman on the Wall.

  3. I’ve seen two prophetic words, one private a little time ago, one by Nathan Shaw.

Nathan Shaw said, “God is raising up Kingdom warriors whose sole focus will be the destruction of just one enemy stronghold… The Kingdom warriors that God is raising up will be laser-focused on the destruction of specific strongholds, but in the process, they will not become darkened in their minds.”

He highlighted the work of many years of just two US Defense Threat Reduction Agency officers, who made Operation Midnight Hammer and destruction of the Iranian Uranium enrichment plant not just possible but successful. It was single-minded focus that enabled this. The word is published, you can read all he said online.

The word I heard which is not published was similar but the emphasis was not just on single focus but also on unity and purity. The ekklesia must be cleansed of distraction, prejudice and old mindsets and rise together to defeat the enemy with strategic deployment.

The example they gave was the Battle of Britain, the campaign of 1940 between the Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, Royal Canadian Air Force and Fleet Air Arm defending against the Luftwaffe and Corpo Aereo Italiano working to destroy British aerial defence. Most of the Allied pilots were young British men under 23 and also 112 Canadian.

But of near 3000 pilots there were also 595 pilots from outside UK. 145 Polish, 127 New Zealand, 88 Czechoslovaks, 32 Australians, 28 Belgians, 25 South Africans, 13 French, 10 Irish, 9 Americans, 3 Southern Rhodesians and individuals from the British Empire. It was not just in air, but on land. There were many more ground crew and operational staff. Women munitions workers and female air transport pilots and drivers. The families that supported all these people. The Dowding system was developed, the world’s first interception network. Basically all these people worked together in some way on one purpose.

We are all being called. Some are teachers. Some prophets. Some intercessors. Many other callings honing their skill and working their individual task but for one purpose, to fulfil God’s plan and release His kingdom on earth.
