Prophetic Rambling: What is Fuelling Your Altar?

This morning as I went into my time with The LORD, The Holy Spirit asked a question, “What is Fuelling your Altar?”

Wow! What a loaded question! But God always asks the most incredible and heart searching questions…

And I then heard these Words, “For surely I tell you, My Holy Fire responds to Holy and Consecrated Living Sacrifices — and it is My Fire that also purifies and refines what is laid upon My Altar.

For you look for Fire, but I AM looking at what sustains it. I AM looking at what is laid upon The Altar!

Many have built Altars and kindled flames, but I AM searching for Oil — for Purity in both the Altar and the Sacrifice.

For some have Fire — but it is fed by Mixture — by striving, by pressure, by self promotion, by false expectation, and by the need to maintain what I did not ask, or what I did not send you to carry!

Others have presented themselves as a Sacrifice, and yet they have not remained.

They have built the Altar, but they have not yielded their lives upon it. They have not become “Keepers of the Flame”.

But listen — for I AM now calling My Remnant to a place where there is no mixture, no dilution and no compromise!

I say, come up here! Come up higher — where My Presence becomes The Fuel — and you become the Living and Yielded Offering — to where the Fire is not fueled by human effort and the Sacrifice is not sustained by man’s strength.

For I tell you, a Living Sacrifice must remain upon the Altar, but you cannot remain when I have not become your Only Source!

Watch! For I AM dealing with the places where you climbed down from The Altar when it has become uncomfortable and costly, and I AM exposing and revealing the hidden areas — the blind spots — where you have held back and kept back part of yourself while still calling it Surrender.

For at The Altar, I cannot receive divided hearts in this hour, nor offerings that withhold what is Mine.

I AM calling for a Whole Life laid down….

Yet hear Me, this is not a Call to Exhaustion, nor is it a Call to be consumed by Strange or Empty Fire!

For when I AM The Living Flame, I will sustain what I have truly Ignited and that which is fully yielded unto Me.

When I AM the Fuel — when I AM the Source — I will uphold what is laid before Me in full Obedience and Surrender…

So I say again: What is Fuelling your Altar?

For if it is not Me, it will fail you, the Flames will dwindle, thick Smoke shall fill the atmosphere and the coals that once glowed bright, will no longer burn hot, but will go cold and be of no effect.

But if you will Yield yourself to Me fully, without Mixture, without Reservation and without Striving in the flesh, you will see that the all-consuming Fire you feared that would destroy you, will come to Refine and Refire you — and Carry you!

And you will become a Living Sacrifice that Remains, and that shall burn continuously. because I Myself AM the One Who is sustaining both The Altar and The Flame that falls upon it!”

Living Sacrifices to God
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and Perfect Will of God.” Romans 12:1-2.
