Where Does The Cross Lead You?
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Where Does The Cross Lead You?
Where does The Cross lead you?
To His Kingdom filled with peace and meekness
Of Divine Kingship; Power expressed through humility:
“Say to the Daughter of Zion,
‘See your King comes to you,
Gentle and riding on a donkey,
On a colt, the foal of a donkey.’”
Through obedience and faith
One steps into Opportunities God-Ordained
With humility just as CHRIST displayed
Where does The Cross lead you?
Right into the Arms of Love and Light
Where does The Cross lead you?
To beginnings that lead to spiritual crossroads
Filled with determination through the HOLY SPIRIT:
Paul said, “From the first day I set foot
In the province of Asia….”
Yes, there is caution, but there is also conviction
Neither storms nor prisons nor the wayward ways of pagans
Can halt the Gospel’s course
Despite the danger, one keeps moving forward
In God’s Perfect Timing
Where does The Cross lead you?
Right into the Arms of Mercy and Truth
Where does The Cross lead you?
No matter where one goes
No matter how one travels
No matter the mission
The Cross is always in action
Speaking and demonstrating
The Way, The Truth and The Life!
The Good News!
The Son who laid down His Life
For all whom He loves!
Ohhhh where does The Cross lead you?
Right into the Arms of JESUS CHRIST!
“From Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called for the elders of the church. And when they had come to him, he said to them: “You know, from the first day that I came to Asia, in what manner I always lived among you, serving the Lord with all humility, with many tears and trials which happened to me by the plotting of the Jews; how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. And see, now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me. But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:18-24.
“And finding a ship sailing over to Phoenicia, we went aboard and set sail. When we had sighted Cyprus, we passed it on the left, sailed to Syria, and landed at Tyre; for there the ship was to unload her cargo. And finding disciples, we stayed there seven days. They told Paul through the Spirit not to go up to Jerusalem.” Acts 21:2-4.
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8.
“Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,” Ephesians 2:19.
“Tell the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your King is coming to you, Lowly, and sitting on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.’ ” Matthew 21:5.

“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.
