Which Prophecies Are True for Each Coming Year? — 2 Comments

  1. Glad someone said it.
God is not a God of confusion, but many of the prophecies are contradicting.  And another thing I might add most prophecies are fluff.  What do I mean?  I’m not a prophet, but I could prophesy what many are writing.
It’s not actionable, it’s vague, like brother Hanson said, those who prophesy things like, “there will be surprises.”  Of course there will be surprises.  Anyone can prophesy that. Look at Samuel, he told Saul, you find your donkeys, meet these people who will give you bread and so on and gave specific prophesy over Saul.  It was not vague or confusing.
Only God knows, but I would suspect 90% of people claiming to be prophets are not.  That also has led to confusion.
I am not naming names or criticizing anyone individually, but I would like those claiming to be prophets to judge themselves
Are the words you are prophesying from God or your desires?
But in balance I pray God blesses everyone trying to use and learn their gifting in Christ.

    • Dear Each,
The Lord gave me this to post here:
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way – in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.”
This of is the opening of “A Tale of Two Cities” (1859) is by Charles Dickens.
I am sure you see the parallels.
May the LORD bless you and keep you; may the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray, amen!
