Who’s Really in Charge?

When entering into a place a question that readily comes to mind is?   Who’s in charge – who owns this company?  In business, we might ask who has the controlling interest and what does that stock portfolio look like?  Well, this is an important question that we must have answers to, in this season.

Are we heavily influenced by what we read or our culture’s traditions?  Is it our family’s lineage (generational heritages) strongly shape our morals or we made truly made in His image and likeness?

Are our choices developed after the pattern of God’s mind (word) or are we our own man and woman, or can we be both?  The reason this so important is because our choices, decisions and even consequences in life may have to do with the answers to these questions.

In other words, would it be appropriate to call in another company’s people to clean-up and fix the problems that I have made during the developing of my own company if they are not affiliated or employed nor connected to me, in any way?  That can occur when we have our own minds about everything without following after God’s word, waiting on His wisdom or heeding his voice concerning key things that need to be done.

We can say that Jesus is Our Lord and Savior over our lives and that we listen, obey, or walk according to His wisdom and then all heck breaks lose — after following the dictates of the flesh — and then we cry out to God and say Lord, please get me out of this mess, without ever acknowledging that it could be possible that the reason things are the way they are because someone /something else was in control.

It is time to carefully scrutinize everything happening around us.  What needs to be done now.  What is our next step to getting things together in order to deal with important issues that are before us.  Time keeps on ticking, ticking, ticking into the future.
