Why Don’t They Talk About It?
So many things are happening in the wider society that preachers are not speaking about in the Churches.
Only delivering ‘feel-good’ messages — then straight to the tithes and offering segment…..
The Holy Spirit is deeply grieved, because many shepherds have turned away from the burden of The LORD, and the people are being lulled into a slumber of entertainment, materialism, and false peace.
“Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture!” says The LORD. (Jeremiah 23:1)
“They have healed the wound of My people lightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace.” (Jeremiah 6:14)
These ‘feel-good’ messages are soothing the flesh while starving the spirit.
Meanwhile:
- Children are vanishing into trafficking systems.
- Wombs are sacrificed on altars of convenience.
- Rituals are conducted in entertainment and government.
- Demonic portals are opening while the Church claps to shallow sermons..
Why don’t they talk about it?
- Because it costs too much.
- Because it offends sponsors.
- Because it disturbs the comfortable.
- Because it exposes compromised alliances.
The true prophets cry aloud and spare not (Isaiah 58:1) — but the false ones love applause more than the anointing…
“The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?” Jeremiah 5:32.
But in the midst of this God is raising up voices, ones who will not compromise who have been trained and tested by Him — intercessors, watchmen, prophets in the wilderness — those who have seen too much to be silent and heard too deeply to preach lies.
“The remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations like a lion… who tears down and none can deliver.” Micah 5:8.

So right on!
Praise God! God bless you, dear Sister Syreeta! This is so true, and I stand in agreement with you on this word – praying for those who scatter the sheep, who lead astray many who are seeking truth, but are led away by flesh feel good preaching.
I was conversing with a brother the other day, showing him a young man preaching on a bus – this brother’s response was, the people didn’t appear or desire to hear the infallible raw Word of God, which this young man was preaching.
My response was that he is delivering the Word of God in love, as many will always shun or reject the true preaching of God’s Word, but the seed was dropped with/in the love of Christ…..I’ve learned years ago that Word of God is a divine medicine and remedy for everything m, as minister, witnesses and ambassadors for Jesus Christ, we have to speak the raw truth and fullness of God’s Word, not worried about the stone facial expexpressions by some, but understanding that the Word of God will always offend someone who maybe living in sin.
The Word of God is for divine correction, discipline, encouragement- always available to direct us in/through the Holy Spirit, to assist, direct, lead, and guide us.
God bless you, dear Sister Syreeta! I sincerely love God and have always felt it necessary to serving God’s Word in its entirety – not half baked, but well done, nothing missing to soothe the ears or compromise. I extend the peace, love and blessings of Jesus Christ to you!
