Without JESUS Everything is Meaningless
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Without JESUS Everything is Meaningless
Thank you FATHER for everything You have given me
But thank you most of all for Your Son JESUS
Without Him everything is meaningless:
For what shall it profit a man
If he shall gain the whole world,
And lose his soul?
Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul
When everything at the end is destroyed by moth and rust?
I shall not be ashamed of my JESUS
Nor the Words He speaks.
You have said,
“I will never leave you, nor forsake you.”
I trust You: For the LORD is my Helper;
I will not fear;
What can man do to me?
I cannot live without Your Precious Son JESUS
For yes, I am in this world but not of it
I sit and watch Your Creation
And marvel at how You provide
From the lilies in the field to the sparrows of the air
None are anxious; so let my life be, too
For You know what I need—
You will take care of me
Oh let my faith enlarge
Only seeking the Kingdom of God first!
You have said,
“I will never leave you, nor forsake you.”
I trust You: For the LORD is my Helper;
I will not fear;
What can man do to me?
Without JESUS everything is meaningless
Oh I will not be ashamed to speak His Words
Without JESUS everything is meaningless
Oh yes…. in Him, by Him and through Him I place my trust
Only through my JESUS is my life made rich!
You have said,
“I will never leave you, nor forsake you.”
I trust You: For the LORD is my Helper;
I will not fear;
What can man do to me?
Thank you FATHER for everything You have given me
But thank You most of all for Your Son JESUS
Without Him everything is meaningless:
Oh yes…. in Him, by Him and through Him I place my trust
Only through my JESUS is my life made rich!
You have said,
“I will never leave you, nor forsake you.”
I trust You: For the LORD is my Helper;
I will not fear;
What can man do to me?
Oh let me be like the lilies in the field
Like the sparrows of the air
Arrayed in such splendor, with such faith!
Not anxious for anything
Only seeking the Kingdom of God first….
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:36-38.
“Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”” Hebrews 13:5-6.
“And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”” Luke 12:15.
“Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith? “And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.” Luke 12:27-31.
“But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.” 1 Timothy 6:6-8.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33.
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal,” Matthew 6:19.
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9.
