You Cannot Do God’s Will Until This Happens!
Jesus spoke to me a lot about this topic. So I will be writing very little and posting a lot of what Jesus said.
Jesus spoke about how you cannot do God’s will until you go through three phases.
1. God has to empty you
In John 2:6 we see that Jesus used empty pots in order to begin to turn water into wine.
Jesus says: “I wanted the water pots empty, so I could fill with My Wine.
I AM emptying you and filling you with more of Me.
I want to drain people of their ambitions and desires, so I may fill them with all of Me — My Presence, My Goals, My Desires for them, and My Hope.”
2. God has to fill you
In John 2, the mother of Jesus told the people hat they need to do whatever Jesus tells them to do.
So I imagine the people huddled around Jesus silently, just waiting for instructions on how to fill the water pots.
Similarly, this is how we get full internally. We sit with Jesus and just look at Him. We listen and wait for instruction as we be aware and receptive of His Spirit.
You become so full of Jesus you seek what He has to say all the time.
Jesus says: “When you are filled — you are led to God in every relationship, every job, every circumstance.”
3. Your plan has to be God’s Plan
“When you commit your plan to Me, then I can trust you.
I will begin to move you to do My Will — for your goal is to follow Me — to seek Me in all that you do.
Do you want to prosper? Follow Me!
Do you want greater health? Seek Me!
Align your plans with Mine. For My Plan is to bring you into My arms!”
In short:
- God has to empty you. Life is not about you.
- God has to fill you. Life is about working with Him to accomplish His Dreams and Goals that He has for you.
- Your plan has to be God’s Plan.
Once this happens, you will accomplish the will of God for your life.
Your joy will increase, your peace will increase, and you will experience the power and love of Jesus everyday and in every situation of your life.

Mr. Coffey, thank you for today’s Word. I like the analogy of the Water pots.
Amen and thank you.
1. The water pots were not emptied, but were already empty.
2. The water pots were filled with water – by people.
3. Only when they were filled with water did Jesus turn the water into wine.
“And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.” John 2:6-8.
That’s what he said. Read the article again.
AMEN
