You have shed many tears and He has caught them each one.

Do not think of them as pain, but simply a thundershower to your soul.

It is announcing change is coming to you like a sudden summer rain!

What water is to the deer, Beloved Father that is what you are to us.

We run past the stale and stagnant waters to reach your fresh and clear flowing streams.

We don’t want what is left over from last week’s thundershower. We are calling down a new and refreshing thundershower for our souls.

Blessed is the man who trusts in you. We decree that we are not in this desert left to die, but we are only passing through.

Yet our valleys have been filled with thorns and vipers, it had led us to the High Hills of your Glory!

Through this drought we could have looked down, but we only see the ground. We could have looked straight ahead, but still could only see so far.

Oh Father we Look Up! We look up to our Tower of Refuge only found in you. Through you we are moving from survivor to overcomer!

We have walked through The Fire and you were there. We faced the lions and you shut their mouths against us.

Now we walk in a place that seems so dry and it feels we forgotten what your rain tastes like, so remind us in such a mighty way! Let it pour!

Sickness, death, struggles with our children, financial lack, among other fiery battles is what many of your children face at this moment as my lips utter these words in prayer.

It has overwhelmed them and we are now taking our seats not at a meager table of lack, but the table of your covenant blessings. The Kings Table is where we shall take our seat!

Let that Heavenly rain fill those pits and dark caves when many sit in despair. Let it fill the cisterns that have run dry.

The rain of your favor, blessing, and graciousness!

Each rain drop is a tangible token of your love and peace into the hearts of your children.

We can do all things through you. We arise with our swords in hand knowing that no weapon formed against us shall prosper.

New legends shall be born from the testimony of your goodness in our lives. We are coming out from this drought into your abundant rain.
