This Meeting Was Meant to Be

I was talking to a man in his thirties who lives in an RV.

He started a beautiful Holy Spirit lead conversation without even knowing it.

We chatted about life and difficulties, and I spoke to him about my faith and the joy it brings.

He began to talk about how he isn’t a believer, but he would like it if it were true.

I told him that we are all on our journey.  I said that if he knew how un-boring it is to be a believer, he would be amazed and in awe if he could see the Heavenly Realms working on earth.

I sensed he was very open and I was led by The Holy Spirit to speak about an angelic experience I had when one of my children was younger.

The school were threatening that I had to give him Ritalin or he would be expelled.

He was only nine and was undergoing autistic and emotional behavioural testing.

I told him that one night while my husband was downstairs, I awoke to a beautiful kaleidoscope of light on the door that led to the landing.

It was as though it was reflecting something on the stairs.  It was just like a children’s kaleidoscope I had when younger.

I told him that I could hear several voices whispering and having such a simple conversation.

They were asking each other what I should do about the Ritalin.  I didn’t have any fear, I felt a divine peace over me and this was before I came to Christ.

I smiled and went back to sleep.  I will never forget that I was able to hear the voices of Angels concerned over my situation.

The young man looked at me and said, “There’s something that makes me believe you. If somebody else had told me something about Angels, it would just go over my head, but I believe it because I can feel it”.

He proceeded to tell me that he came from a Catholic family and went to a Catholic school but had never experienced this feeling.

I just reminded him how loved he is and he said that, “This meeting was meant to be.  I can feel it”.

Again, when talking about the God of The Bible, people’s demeanours change and their eyes come alive.

We parted our ways, but I know God set a seed in his heart.

This was all The Holy Spirit working with tender love that blessed both the imperfect  vessel and the hearer.

God always blesses when we face fear and are obedient to simply give testimony and he does the rest.

If only every soul on earth knew that they were created with great care and love by a Daddy who would never leave them.

A Fresh Fire Within You

At the beginning of every year I ask The LORD what my Scripture will be, to encourage myself in difficult circumstances for the year ahead.

This year I was given Psalm 23 and believe this is for many of you.

I pray this encourages you, and reminds us that we shall not want!

The LORD is putting a fresh Fire within you that will break off weariness and every lie that has been agreed to.

A new fearlessness shall arise in you, new boldness and courage and joy will overflow you as we leave this month of May and enter into June.

Many of you are already feeling it, that the desire to be near water has been so overwhelming but now, The Holy Spirit has led you to drink from The Word in The Secret Place.

Dryness has made many of us look for sustenance in the natural again, to the old and temporary nourishment.

Yet now, The LORD is saying “enough is enough” and is drawing us back into his nourishment.

Where there were dry beds, The LORD is pouring forth the rains from the mountain top prayers you have lifted in your obedience even in your distresses.

You will not drown, you are now ready to become buoyant again, and as your life waters are refreshed, you will now rise up to be the lifesavers you were created to be in this moment and for such a time as this.

I encourage you to dwell on Matthew 6:6.

“But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in The Secret Place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.”   Matthew 6:6.

The LORD set this on my heart recently, and I believe he wants us to dwell in this place as he works out the victory promises.

We are to close the door to voices that contradict his word, voices that speak in unbelief, and voices that do not hold power to encourage, bring life and awaken.

I pray these words witness in your spirit.

The LORD Is My Shepherd

“A Psalm of David.
“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of The LORD forever.”   Psalm 23:1-6.
