Beware of the Enemy Masquerading as Light
A serious Warning from The LORD came to me last weekend, and today He told me to release this to you now for Prayer.
In the Spirit I see what is supposed to be a restaurant known for fine dining and haute-cuisine but it looks more like a school canteen.
In one I am dining with what looks like a man with dark hair in a style that alternates either neat and short or like a member of a 1970s rock band.
He is aware that most people find him irresistible and he is doing his very best to be charming and good company.
He is a good conversationalist and topics covered are wide ranging, from music, to military affairs to points of doctrine.
But I feel disquieted. I do my best to be polite and kind and keep up my end of the conversation as we eat, but something about him “creeps me out”.
I don’t find him irresistible. He is knowledgeable about spiritual matters — but I can see they don’t touch his heart as they should and every now and then I see him observing me closely with eyes that are anything but friendly.
I can’t wait to leave and get away from him.
In the second version, I am with what looks like a man with long, curled, light brown hair who is wearing mid-seventeenth century clothes (in a school canteen. I know! It gets worse. Please bear with it for now).
He is much more unsure of himself and he is discussing his anxiety about something at great length.
He has paperwork about it in a “cut flush” folder and shows me a PowerPoint presentation on his laptop… (I did warn you!).
I try to reassure him about whatever it is that upset him . We chat easily, on more friendly terms. His humility helps, yet I have that same sense of discomfiture.
In the third Vision I am with what looks like a really beautiful young woman.
She is very complimentary and physically affectionate towards me and she keeps giving me hugs and I hug her back, but there is something peculiar about her.
I notice that she has a moustache! Not just a normal amount of female facial hair, a genuine, honest-to-goodness moustache.
I am trying very hard not to ask her why she has a moustache glued on, but I can’t be sure she didn’t actually grow it.
Something about all of them doesn’t feel entirely benign or even entirely human.
The fourth image I get is of my lying on a sofa, under medication and not fully conscious.
I see the dark haired being from the first version. He crouches down in front of me, looks intently into my eyes and he keeps trying to take my face in his hands.
But even in my medicated state I flap my hands ineffectually at him, saying, “No, you’re not Him. You’re too intense, too triumphant and too spiteful to be Him!”
I then see the face of Jesus.
He takes my face in His hands and as I struggle to focus, He tells me He really is Himself. He has much to say and He wants to show us all just how much He loves us, but something keeps interposing itself between us and Jesus, wearing a mask over itself, so that we don’t trust what we hear.
Jesus tells me, “Well done, for seeing that something is wrong and trying to fight it, and that we have everything we need to dispel the darkness and to shine with His light.”
“And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal with us in the things they boast about. For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.” 2 Corinthians 11:12-15 NIV.
“I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.” John 12:46.
“For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:6.
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:5.
