The LORD says,   “I’ve already told you that these leaders are not of My making!

I have Cyrus and Nebuchadnezzar active in the world, and more than one of each.  I will bless them as you pray for them.

But, for all your prayers and hopes, they are not of my making either.

I have told you so many times to ask me to raise up bespoke leadership, individually created by My hand and fitted to suit the situation.

Why are you not doing so more fervently?

Why are you still more diligent about praying for those who you think are currently best suited for these positions?

Why do you gloat over the foolishness of others?

Why do you look at the speck in their eye when the log in your own eye is like a mighty stake driven through your hard heart?

Why do you arrogantly speak of the faithful remnant, when in your faithlessness you defy Me?

Who do you think you are, that you keep trying to dictate to Me like this?

You think you are doing My will but you are not. You are seeking your own will.

Stop trying to fight this desperate, rearguard action.

It is like putting a small plaster on a deep flesh wound.

I train My Children to fight with confidence, from where they are seated with Me in the Heavenly realms.

My thoughts are not your thoughts.

I want to share My heart with you, My deepest longings.

How can I entrust you with the deep things of God when you do not seek My will even in this?

I AM The LORD.  I cast down and I raise up!

Nothing is impossible for Me, but it really will help if you bother asking!”

“Behold, I AM The LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?”   Jeremiah 32:27.

“Great is our LORD, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.  The LORD lifts up the humble; He casts the wicked down to the ground.”   Psalm 147:5-6.

“So you shall keep My statutes and My judgments, by which a man may live if he does them; I am The LORD.”   Leviticus 18:5.

“The One forming light and creating darkness, causing well-being and creating calamity; I AM The LORD who does all these.”   Isaiah 45:7.
