A word for the nation of France; France, I see the eyes of your lovesick Father watching and waiting for your heart to turn, return and burn…!

The Spirit of God gives me no rest. The nation of France is on the forefront of the Father’s heart and mind in this hour.

I hear a heavenly call in the realms of the spirit to begin to decree and declare with a loud voice;

“The heart of the nation of France will now turn, return and burn”.

Now I heard these words as I prayed for the nation of France early hours of this morning:

“This prodigal nation now stands in the valley of decision in this hour. It stands on the fringes of divine restoration and kingdom reformation.

Watch! For a mighty whirlwind carrying the fires of His glory and wonder now blows forth across the land.

Watch! For a fresh fire will fall upon the heart of this prodigal nation and it will turn, return and burn!”

After hearing these words, I continued to press into the fathers heart where a powerful vision opened up before me and I saw in the spirit these words being written over the nation:

“This prodigal nation now turns, returns and burns”.

Then suddenly I saw the story of the prodigal son unfold before my eyes. I saw the Father standing on a dusty roadside. I could see tears running down His face. His eyes were fixed on the horizon. He was watching and waiting with great expectation and anticipation for the return of his beloved son.

I could see that the Father was restless. His heart was aching and longing for His son to return home.

Then my eyes were suddenly drawn to a far away place where I saw the son who was now living in a land where there was a severe famine. Being half starved and alone he lived in fields feeding pigs. Stripped of his true identity and seemingly robbed of his God-given destiny, his heart was filled with anger, fear, regret, remorse, guilt, condemnation and confusion.

The hopes and dreams he once carried of great purpose, wealth and prosperity now lay at his feet in ruins. But then suddenly ‘he comes to his senses’, and he begins to think about his Father and how He has sinned against him.

So the son decides to set out and go back home to his Father and when he gets there, he will say to him; “Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. Surely I am no longer worthy to be called your son; just make me like one of your hired servants”.

But then while the son was still a long way off, the lovesick Father who has been watching and waiting for the return of His beloved son sees him in the distance. Immediately His heart was filled with great love and compassion and He begins to run towards him, he throws his arms around him and he kisses him.

Then the son says to his Father, ‘Gather, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ but the Father with a heart filled with forgiveness and with tears of great joy running down his face he calls to his servants,

“Quick, quick bring to me the best robe and put it on him, put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Let us lay a table before him, let us kill the fattened calf, for this is a time of feasting, celebration and restoration, for My son was dead but now he is alive, he was lost and is found.

I prophesy: In this hour that the heart of this prodigal nation will now come to its senses and turn away from the path of destruction and death and return home to a lovesick Father who is watching, waiting and ready to fully restore, reinstate and reform.

France hear the word of the LORD. It is time to turn, return and repent for you have sinned against heaven and you have sinned against your father.

Fear not! For there is a robe of complete and unconditional love, approval and protection waiting for you, there is a ring of kingly authority for your finger and there are sandals of true sonship for your feet.

France look! For the fattened calf has been killed and there is a banqueting table that has been set for you as a nation. For this is the time of great celebration, restoration, revival and reformation.

I prophesy: That your heart will burn with the fires of revival that will sweep across the nations of the earth.

I prophesy: A great awakening is now being birthed in the nation of France.

Prayer for France

A Prayer strategy for France in this hour:

1. Pray that the heart of the nation of France will turn, return and burn.
2. Pray that this nation will no longer delay in returning back to the heart of the father, where he is waiting and ready to fully restore, revive and reform.
3. Pray that this prodigal nation will ‘come to its senses’ and recognise and acknowledge that it has sinned against heaven and against the heart of the father.
4. Pray that France will turn away from the path of destruction and death.
5. Pray that France will return and repent.
6. Pray that France will burn will the fires of his glory and wonder.
7. Pray that France will walk in true kingdom authority and identity to fulfill Kingdom destiny.
