A Safe Shelter
“You hide them in the safety of your presence from the plots of others; in a safe shelter you hide them from the insults of their enemies.” Psalm 31:20 GNT.
Dear Ones: A Safe Shelter!
When jealous words are sent like arrows against you, this psalm of David brings a comforting word.
The Master knows how it feels to be unjustly accused or slandered by those who hurl insults to promote themselves over you.
But there is a safe shelter in His presence that brings comfort and peace to your soul.
Proverbs 18 affirm the words of David to you,
“The name of The LORD is a strong tower; The righteous runs to it and is safe and set on high [far above evil].” Proverbs 18:10 AMP.
You are not left to handle such attacks on your own!
The Master asked The Father to send The Holy Spirit to be with you. He also said that He would never forsake you nor leave you in the lurch.
So, check yourself when these types of attack come against you, your family or your nation.
Rebuke the thought bombs of the enemy.
He sends them to put doubt in your mind about the goodness of The LORD and the completeness of the work of the Cross.
Remember, he is a liar. And liars lie!
Declare:
LORD, You are a safe shelter for those who call upon You in faith.
I believe You are my strong tower and will hide me from those who have attacked me unjustly.
I know you will keep my job, my family, and my nation safe because I believe you are more than able to do it.
You will prosper every project and assignment You called me to do.
How great is Your power and mercy to those who know You and worship You.
Praise The LORD!
Have a blessed and overcoming day in Jesus’ Name!
