First I wanted to share a powerful Word released by a Prophetic Voice here in Ireland, Victor Mitchell, a Prophetic Word which he shared late last night for the purpose of Prayer, and so I will post that Word, and then my Prophetic Response to the Prophecy.

What an Interesting Prophetic Word!   I wanted to share something quickly, that as soon as I began reading the words, “Burn him…Burn him”  — I heard in The Spirit,  “BURNHAM!  BURNHAM!”

Andy Burnham has just won the Makerfield By-Election by a Landslide, and given the timing of his rising in Political Prominence and the wider conversations surrounding the Future Direction of the British Labour Party, I do not believe the timing of this Word is merely Coincidental, but rather, I believe it may be a timely Prophetic Signpost and Warning concerning things that may begin to unfold in greater measure in the days ahead.

As I continued reading your [his] Word, I suddenly saw the image of a Straw Man Rising and then I watched as the Straw Man was set on fire, and I heard the Words,  “Burnham — a Rising Political Straw Man for the Labour Party!”

The Symbolism I think is striking…

As we know, a Straw Man is often a figure upon which people will project their Hopes and Aspirations and Expectations — their frustrations and even anger…

Straw Man : 1) An argument or opponent set up so as to be easily refuted or defeated.  2)  An insubstantial concept, idea, endeavor or argument, particularly one deliberately set up to be weakly supported, so that it can be easily knocked down; especially to impugn the strength of any related thing or idea.  ^©Wikipedia

And in times of uncertainty, instability and national dissatisfaction, such figures can become Rallying Points for change and Political Vessels who carry the hopes of many seeking a different future and direction.

Yet, what stood out to me about seeing the Straw Man was that he did not simply Rise — he was being consumed by Fire!

And then I could hear the Words,  ”Burn him!  Burn him!”

I believe this speaks not only of the fragile nature of Public Expectation, but also of the lack of any real substance in either this rising Political Figure or the Solutions he will offer to a Nation who is now facing deep and serious complex challenges!

This Newly-crowned Political Straw Man Burnham, is being viewed as a Potential Saviour of the British Labour Party and is being elevated by the hopes and expectations of the People — certainly of Makerfield.

Yet the symbolism of the Rising Straw Man being Set on Fire, speaks of what may soon follow.

The very one whom they have lifted up today as an answer to the Nation’s growing problems, may quickly become the new Focal Point away from Prime Minister Keir Starmer, of further growing public frustration, disappointment and contempt, should those expectations fail to be realised.

So I submit that the image of the Burning Straw Man may be a Warning of The Nation now entering into yet another cycle of Political Hope, followed by Public Disillusionment, and more fuel for the fires of destruction.

The one they celebrated today as a Political and Economic Solution — may soon become tomorrow’s Scapegoat, when the expectations of the Party remain unmet and circumstances continue to deteriorate.

As I weighed your Word, I sensed this points however, to more than one Man — Andy Burnham.

Rather, I believe it speaks of a wider Political Realignment that is taking place within a Nation which is searching desperately for answers, while standing at an increasingly dangerous Tipping Point and Crossroads.

I submit Prophetically that the image of the Straw Man Rising and then being Set on Fire speaks of elevation followed by rejection, false hope, then followed by disillusionment and more deception — and public favour that rapidly turns sour and only then serves the growing civil unrest!

What struck me most was that the Word you bring confirms a Nation already under immense pressure!

Fires of anger, resentment, bitterness, division, civil unrest, rumours and social upheaval spreading across the Land like wildfire.

The daily News Reports are of cold-blooded murder and rape.  Families divided, communities being fractured and destroyed by the Yoke of Woke and the Increasing instability, corruption and perversion from the Highest Levels of our Government to the Streets of the Nation.

And it’s all against that backdrop…

I believe the symbolism of BURNHAM as a Rising Political Straw Man is a Warning that Political Figures across the Nations will increasingly become vessels onto which the public will project its hopes and expectations, only to discover that Political Solutions alone cannot and will never heal deeper National and Global fractures and increasing crisis and darkness.

Yet we all know that the real Hope of The Word released here is not to be found in politics, or in any Political Party or figure.

As it’s been prophesied here, The Remnant was shown under a Divine Covering and Protection, while the Clarion Call was to Pray for the Latter Rain of God’s Mercy and Grace, to quench the Fires threatening to spread throughout the Nation(s)  Ha!

While Men and Nations look to the Houses of Government for Political Answers and Quick Solutions, the Trumpet Call of Heaven is Calling for us a “Chosen Governing Remnant to Arise,  Shine, for such a Time as this, to Watch, Pray, and to Remain under His Covering, and to Cry Out for Mercy in a Nation that appears to be moving ever closer to a Global Tipping Point!

Prophetic Note

As I continued to weigh the symbolism of the Rising Straw Man, I was reminded of the Words of Scripture concerning wood, hay, and stubble being tested by fire.

”Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire,”   1 Corinthians 3:12–13.

The symbolism, even the name, ”Makerfield”  stands out Prophetically.

• A ‘Maker’ speaks of one who fashions… forms… and creates.
• A ‘Field’ is the place where Straw is grown and then harvested…

I submit that the symbolism again is striking….

• The Straw Man I saw rising first emerges from ‘Maker-field’ … a place whose very name speaks of the making and forming of that which comes from the field…
• The Straw Man is Made and Rises from the Field, yet when the fire came… he could not withstand it!

I submit that this speaks prophetically of something being rapidly built, promoted and elevated by men — but lacking the substance and foundation required to endure the Fires of Testing that surely follow.

As Scripture declares:  Wood, hay, and stubble shall be revealed by Fire.

What is built by human ambition, public sentiment and political expectation may rise quickly — but the Fire will ultimately reveal whether there is true substance beneath the image!

The Image of the Rising Straw Man being set on fire, I submit speaks of a coming test whereby that which has been exalted and celebrated will surely be examined… and its true nature will be revealed!
