Behold It Is I!
A psalm to praise and sing to God aloud.
Behold It Is I!
“Behold it is I!
Behold it is I,
Your LORD God who sets His People free!”
How beautiful upon the mountain
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims Salvation,
Who says to Zion,
“Your God reigns!”
“Behold it is I!
Behold it is I,
Your LORD God who has come to save thee!”
Awake! Awake!
Put on your strength, O Zion!
Put on your beautiful garments,
O Jerusalem, the holy city!
For the uncircumcised and unclean
Shall no longer come to you.
Shake yourself from the dust, arise;
Sit down, O Jerusalem!
Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck,
O captive daughter of Zion!
“Behold it is I!
Behold it is I,
Your LORD God who has arrived!”
Oh watchmen lift up your voices,
Sing together in one accord;
For you shall see eye to eye
When The LORD brings back Zion!
Break forth into joy, sing together
You waste places of Jerusalem!
For The LORD has comforted His people,
He has redeemed Jerusalem!
The LORD has made bare His Holy Arm
In the eyes of all the nations;
And all the ends of the earth shall see
The Salvation of our God!
“Behold it is I
Who sets His people free!
Behold it is I
Who has come to save thee!
Behold it is I
Who has arrived!
Behold it is I!
Behold it is I!
Oh behold it is I…”
Behold the Salvation of The LORD
Who makes all things new!
“Be still! Behold!
It is I, your LORD God,
Your Redeemer, who has arrived!
Behold it is I!
Behold it is I,
Your LORD God who sets His people free!
Behold it is I!
Behold it is I,
Your LORD God who has come to save thee!
Behold it is I!
Behold it is I,
Your LORD God who has arrived!”
Isaiah 52

Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. Tomorrow go down against them. They will surely come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the brook before the Wilderness of Jeruel. You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.”” 2 Chronicles 20:14-17 NKJV
