In my previous Burden Bearer post, The LORD challenged us to read the book of Amos.

If you missed my post, here is the link. While reading Amos again, I found new revelations to uncover for us today.

However, it’s not surprising at all because this is how The LORD speaks. While we mediate on His Word, His Spirit comes to reveal quite a lot even for such a short book.

As I went through my day, I heard several times The Father say, “I AM establishing My Plumb-line!”

And later, I was asking what this meant and He explained, “I AM selecting leaders, captains and lieutenants.

I AM setting My Plumb-line in the midst of My Remnant. Those who live by My standards will step forward [promoted] to serve as a My Representatives”.

I have been specifically mediating on Amos 5:4, 7:12, 8 and I was given a dream like so many times as I am waking up.

I am walking up a small snowy hill to my car and outside my car there is a large gray hairy goat. He is just standing there waiting by the passenger side.

I am thinking to myself, that goat will not be getting a ride from me! As I get into my car, Jesus gets into the passenger side and even though I can’t actually see him, His glow is there and I can see His hands on my dash.

He says, “Let’s go up the Mountain.” I start the engine of my car and we are now driving up this beautiful mountain road completely filled with snow.

The road is very steep and I am excited because I left the goat behind and I was driving with Jesus. I wake up.

I have been waiting on The LORD for more revelation about this dream and I noticed many watchmen were receiving similar Words regarding the raising-up of prophets. This was confirmation that I was hearing correctly.

Then, His Spirit revealed the meaning of the goat. When I am patient, His Spirit comes with an explanation. Hallelujah!

The goat represents sin and his hair means he is prepared. I was getting into my car leaving my intentional sin to go up the snowy mountain with Jesus.

This is His Plumb-line. Those working to intentionally follow His Standards because they want to rise above their wilderness goat to be with Jesus.

Amos, I believe was God’s plumb-line Prophet. God’s measured Amos by His Standards and principals and Amos passed representing His plumb-line.

I believe The LORD is again measuring His People to see how true they are to His Word and whether they are upright in character and conduct.

“He will make justice the measuring line and righteous plummet.” Isaiah 28:17.

During Amos’ time, God found Israel out of plumb not only in the high places, but in His Sanctuaries of worship.

All were living contrary to God’s Law (Leviticus 17:1-17) The people had fallen too far and God would not spare them any longer. Therefore, they had to be destroyed.

Amos calls the people to seek The LORD and repent and uses 4 pictures to describe the terror of the coming judgments revealed in Amos 8:

• First, the eclipse of the sun, causing darkness and a huge earthquake.
• Then comes death of the people, funerals and mourning.
• And finally the famine of God in Amos 8:11; no light in the darkness, no nourishment for the soul, no direction for making decisions and no protection from the lies of the enemy.

Saints, Amos was a burden bearer who had a personal relationship with God. He knew when to lay the burdens down.

He was a Shepard employed by God to warn and reprove those who were in service to God . He prophesied during the same time of Hosea, Job and Isaiah.

Amos said, The LORD would “ROAR” against His People. His wrath was towards the people of God and His warnings were URGENT!

He was telling God’s people to follow the laws and keep His commandments or they would be punished!

Aren’t we hearing this today?

I looked up the next full sun eclipse and it’s recorded to be April 8, 2024. Many times, a full eclipse causes an earth quake.

Are we being warned?

We all know, the law is not required for our salvation because Jesus came to be our sacrificial lamb.

Could The Father be asking us to follow His Law for our own safety and become His personal plumb-line?

Perhaps, this is one of the hidden secrets spoken of in Daniel 2:22 for the end time?

The Law had a purpose. Do you agree? Personally, I follow The Law, because I am blessed and it’s something I can do for My Saviour. It also establishes a unity to which I receive a full measure of Jesus Christ in my life.

But, maybe the nudge to follow His Commands are for His Protection for the Day of The LORD or the “Opening of the 6th Seal”. Amos 5:8-20 and Revelation 12.

The first 5 seals described by Jesus as the birth pains; wars, famine and persecution. We are definately living the days of the birth pains. God’s wrath begins when the 6th seal is opened, (Matthew 24:8)

If you are receiving a quickening while reading this message, He is calling you! He can see that you are working to rise above!

Isn’t this exciting! A promotion is at hand!

But Bride, we must intentionally make the decision to follow Him.

If you are unsure, He provided a helpful list:

1. What things in your life present limits? Are they developed by The LORD?
2. Ask The LORD if you are exceeding His boundaries? For example, carrying burdens that are not yours? For your family or Friends? Lay each burden down at the feet of Jesus.
3. Ask The LORD if you are doing His Work by His power? Or through your Soul? This is how my auto-immune disease gets it’s power through my soul!! ugh!
4. Ask The LORD from what tribe are you working from? He is raising-up His spiritual Judah tribe. They are the divine ordained spiritual tribe described in Joshua 15.
5. What are you strengths and weaknesses? Ask Him to show you… where and when to establish boundaries and borders within your life.

He is forming His Clay [terra cotta] vessels into His Plumb-line.

If you know this is true for you in your heart, ask Him to show you a vision of yourself.

When we learn to see how God’s looks at us, we feel worthy to walk beside Him.

If you can’t see yourself, ask Him what event damaged the vision of yourself. Ask Him to heal the damaged areas and ask him to show you the changes you need to make so that you can see His Version of you.

Let’s pray:

Father, I thank you for your word. I confess Father God, I am a broken clay vessel and I’ve lost my sense of who I am through you.

I have no motivation for your work. Please forgive me for working within my soul blocking your spirit. Please come find me in my lostness, bind up my goat (brokenness places) and restore me with your Holy Spirit Fire. Come illuminate your love within my soul, so I may Be Free!

Show me Father what you see, tell me who I am in you and once again may I know the joy of having a vision of hope and a future.

I praise you Father, you are a good good God. I thank you for the opportunity to serve you in your plumb-line office. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

Praying without Ceasing for His Bride to become His Plumb-line!

Postscript

Right after I posted this, I accidentally or more importantly The LORD pulled up Julie’s blog . Is it a coincidence for 2 warnings in the same day? I do not think so.

This is how The LORD warns through his Watchman.

I checked… there are two eclipse’s on record for October of 2023 and the other April 2024. Be ready Bride.
