A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Come, Let Us Go Up!
I heard a whispering
On my way through town today
Someone had found faith
And it set them free
There they were dancing
Around the town square
Where they once were before
Resigned and lame
A prisoner of the enemy…
And those around
Witness to this miracle
Heard her say,
“Come, and let us go up
To the Mountain of The LORD…
And He will teach us of His Ways,
And we will walk in His Paths.”
I heard shouts of joy
On my way to the sea today
Someone had found faith
And it set them free
There they were marveling
At the sun upon the water
Where they once were before
Blinded in darkness
A prisoner of the enemy…
And those around
Witness to this miracle
Heard her say,
“Come, and let us go up
To the Mountain of The LORD…
And He will teach us of His Ways,
And we will walk in His Paths.”
I heard shouts of praise
On my way to the fields today
Someone had found faith
And it set them free
There they stood in wonder
Of the birds singing
Where they once were before
Shut in silence
A prisoner of the enemy…
And those around
Witness to this miracle
Heard her say,
“Come, and let us go up
To the Mountain of The LORD…
And He will teach us of His Ways,
And we will walk in His Paths.”
As I watched them walk
Toward the Mountain of The LORD
My heart softened
And lo and behold,
I hungered and thirsted
To be set free
From a broken heart
And released from darkness
There suddenly, faith came upon me
And those around me
Witness to my miracle
Heard me say,
“Come, and let us go up
To the Mountain of The LORD…
And He will teach us of His Ways,
And we will walk in His Paths.”
Dare to hope it’s for you, too
Dare to believe it’s yours
Dare to trust in The LORD
Oh, it’s yours already!

“Many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”” Micah 4:2
