“I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, he who does not enter by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way (elsewhere, from some other quarter) is a thief and a robber.
2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 The watchman opens the door for this man, and the sheep listen to his voice and heed it; and he calls his own sheep by name and brings (leads) them out.
4 When he has brought his own sheep outside, he walks on before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.
5 They will never [on any account] follow a stranger, but will run away from him because they do not know the voice of strangers or recognize their call.
6 Jesus used this parable (illustration) with them, but they did not understand what He was talking about.
7 So Jesus said again, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that I Myself am the Door for the sheep.
8 All others who came [as such] before Me are thieves and robbers, but the [true] sheep did not listen to and obey them.
9 I AM the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved (will live). He will come in and he will go out [freely], and will find pasture,” John 10:1-9, AMPC (emphasis added).
The LORD has been bringing these verses for me to meditate on them.
These verses are in “red” in a red letter edition of the Bible that means they are direct quotes of the Master.
HE has taught me to read these “red” verses as if HE was speaking personally to me. In this time we desperately need to remind ourselves of Who HE is and our relationship to HIM.
This deeply intimate relationship is not like natural relationships. We are not merely close to HIM, but we reside in HIM and HE resides in us. (See John 14:20; 17:21, 23.)
Those who are “in Christ” are also citizens of Heaven (the Kingdom of Light). (See Ephesians 2:19; Philippians 3:20.)
Since we have dual citizenship of the natural realm and of the Kingdom of Light, we are to freely go in and out of both. As we read these verses from this perspective, we see that is what the LORD is saying.
Here is what I heard HIM say:
“My child, I AM the Door. I have given you access to all the inheritance you have in Me through the Cross and My resurrection.
It is time to awaken to the vastness of My grand provisions that are yours on My account.
Come and let My Words, as recorded here by John, speak into the depth of your souls.
You are not orphans, but have a great wealth of provisions available to you through faith.
Yes, I said through faith! You must believe! You must come to understand the greatness of your inheritance or you will continue with a beggar’s mindset.
It grieves Me to see the sorry state many of My children put up with. I have set the table of abundance before you, but you must by faith partake of the bounty.
If you truly believe that I AM in you, that the Kingdom of Light is within you, then why would you think that I would close the door to the Kingdom realm to you?
It is not closed. It is open in Me and through Me.
My call to you today is to believe that I have opened the DOOR and that I have torn the veil of separation.
Come dine with Me. Partake of My grand and glorious provisions. There is an abundance for all. There is no lack in the Kingdom.
There is no sickness, disease, depression, or darkness in the Kingdom. You are My overcomers.
The enemy has done a great work of deception and you have believed his lies for too long. The DOOR is open. Walk out into the LIGHT and receive My gifts, blessings, and provisions that have been set aside for each of you.
Your name is on many items like: healings, finances, spouses, lands, children, and great spiritual revelations.
Resolve to believe Me. You are in Me, so where I AM you are to access without strife or begging entry.
Come!!! I AM with you and will guide your every step. I will never leave you. Take My hand and be free.
It is a good day to be My child. Rejoice, all is well. Shalom.”
