Don’t Hang Your Harp on the Willows!
“Don’t hang your harp on the Willows! The Time of Your Vindication is near!”
I asked The LORD why there are SO many suffering so much right now — and why so many of His Children are facing what seem like IMPOSSIBLE situations.
This world is so hard right now with such hard circumstances. The Body of Christ is crying out for help. Our hearts are broken over it all.
I had a vision of a Believer hanging a harp on a willow tree, like the Bible describes in Psalm 137.
The people were in captivity and were grieving, because they believed The LORD had forsaken them and they were beside themselves with grief and sorrow and hopelessness.
In the same way, many of you have “hung up their harps on a willow.” In other words, you have given up, thinking God has forsaken you.
The enemy has tormented you into thinking you are forsaken and your situation is hopeless. He has taken you captive with fear.
BUT LOOK UP, Child of God! God is about to make some noise!
Take your “harps” down from the willow trees and keep praising Him, keep believing, keep praying, because SUDDENLY, God is going to move on your behalf, He has already gone before you to “make a Way”!
Here is God’s promise to you!
“Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying their sheaves with them!” Psalm 126:6.
“Beloved. The world tells you to believe for the best and prepare for the worst.
But I tell you to believe for the best and prepare for the BEST!
I AM still the Miracle Worker.
I AM still the Way Maker.
I AM still the Promise Keeper.
I AM still the Mender of broken hearts and the One who wipes away all of your tears.
I AM He who is called TRUSTWORTHY.
I AM the Faithful One and the TRUE.
I understand, My Child, when things happen that you do not understand.
I, too, wept with compassion.
I AM well acquainted with your griefs and sorrows.
I AM the God of ALL compassion. I weep when you weep, Beloved.
But when men run out of answers, I AM the Answer!
I AM never surprised or perplexed or at a loss.
I AM that I AM.
I do not change.
I see the end from the beginning and I have made a way of escape!
Keep trusting, My Child. Keep believing. It is the only work that is required, to BELIEVE on the One whom God has sent.
I AM not a man, that I should lie; neither the son of man, that I should change My Mind! Have I said, and shall I not do it? or have I spoken, and shall I not make it good?
The kingdom of darkness is trembling, for I AM rising up on your behalf!
I AM about to make some EARTH SHATTERING NOISE! YES! Suddenly, marvelously, when you least expect a miracle, in the twinkling of My Eye, I shall turn things around!
I shall shatter the plans of the enemy.
I shall fill your mouths with laughter once again!
Out of your test shall come a testimony! For I declared the former things long ago and they went forth from My mouth, and I proclaimed them.
Suddenly I acted, and they came to pass.
Raise a Hallelujah in the presence of your enemies for I AM about to bring forth your Vindication!
SUDDENLY, your tears shall turn into Shouts of Joy!
I AM doing GREAT THINGS for you and you shall be glad!
I hold you in the palm of My hand, Beloved.
I will not let you go! Pick your harp up again and begin to sing with joy!
For many are the afflictions of the righteous, but I deliver you from them ALL!
You shall no longer weep bitterly like the willow, but your heart shall sing with joy!”

“By the rivers of Babylon we sat and wept when we remembered Zion. There on the WILLOWS WE HUNG OUR HARPS, for there our captors requested a song; our tormentors demanded songs of joy: “Sing us a song of Zion. How can we sing a song of The LORD in a foreign land?” Psalm 137:1-4.
HUNG UP THEIR HARPS : It is probable that the WEEPING willow – the willow with long pendulous branches – is here referred to. Trees in desert lands spring up along the courses of the streams, and appear, in the wide desolation, as long and waving lines of green wherever the rivers wind along.
“They hung up their harps on the willows.” Harps here means a type of their ministry, destiny, purpose, and future. They believed they were captives not only physically, but emotionally and intellectually. To them, God was far away and wasn’t going to return. They were WEEPING as the willows were.
BUT GOD! Read on:
“When The LORD brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” The LORD has done great things for us, And we are glad.”” Psalms 126:1-3.
“Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Psalm 126:5-6.
“I declared the former things long ago And they went forth from My mouth, and I proclaimed them. SUDDENLY I acted, and they came to pass.” Isaiah 48:3.
“And I began to WEEP BITTERLY, because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or look inside it. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! Behold, the LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH, the Root of David, has triumphed to open the scroll and its seven seals.”” Revelation 5:4-5.
