Don’t “Take Care!”
“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7.
Americans have a famous saying, “Take Care!”
This statement basically says — “When you leave my presence, take all your troubles with you wherever you go.”
The person speaking these words infers, “I am not willing to aid you with any storms in your life. I am not willing to assist with any wilderness experiences you may encounter.”
People activate Spiritual Warfare into existence, by telling others to take cares from Satan.
“Should we steal from God? Should a man take care when the Bible clearly states: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 Peter 5:7.
Bind word curses in the name of Jesus!
Release the Truth of God’s Word.
Refuse to allow unfaithful and unfruitful words to take root in your life!
The next time a person tells you to “Take Care” — tell them Jesus said:
“Take My Yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I AM meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” Matthew 11:29.
“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?” Matthew 6:25.
“Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 6:1.
“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” Matthew 6:34.
“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; for this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” Matthew 26:26-28.
“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” Matthew 16:24.
The sower soweth the word.
“And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended. And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.” Mark 4:14-20.
