Extreme Dreams
This afternoon I was thinking about a dream that I had many years ago.
I keep a dream journal because The Holy Spirit speaks to me often in dreams. Several years ago I was taking classes on “Dreams & Visions” and “The Art of Hearing God” by John Paul Jackson.
He taught people how The LORD still speaks to us today just as He did so often throughout the Bible. At this time I was receiving extraordinary dreams as well as visions from The LORD almost every night.
One night in December of 2000 I had an amazing dream. In the dream I was looking out at a bunch of pure white poodles with big brown eyes.
I knew that they were females because they had pink bows on their heads. I looked closely into the eyes of one of them and it began speaking to me.
It spoke in a female voice saying: “Now is the time that you were called to the Gospel to do what you were created to do”.
When I woke up I had such peace in my heart. I recognized that the voice was the voice of Kathryn Kuhlman.
A couple of days later I was in a pet shop with a friend. They had a beautiful white puppy for sale.
When I looked at this puppy it looked into my eyes and I saw the same big brown eyes as the white poodle that were in my dream.
This may sound foolish to some of you because our natural minds can not receive the things of The Spirit of God because spiritual things must be spiritually discerned.
Jesus was not only confirming my dream, but it was a confirmation that He was bringing me into a new journey with Him.
He speaks in dreams and makes His mysteries known. Someone told me that the white poodles could have could represented angels.
That same week I had another dream. In this dream I was looking into a bedspread that I had back in the early 1980’s. It was brown with a floral design.
As I looked closely I saw the face of a woman and she began speaking to me. She quoted from the Book of Proverbs saying:
“Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.” (vs 13-16)
When I woke up I was in awe. I knew that The Holy Spirit was speaking and confirming His Word once again. There was a parallel in these two dreams.
I understood that searching for wisdom was the key to unlocking the door to my destiny.
Some of you used to have dreams and hear from God and you are wondering why the river seemed to dry up
. If you want to go back to something that you received from The LORD in the past, you have to go back to doing what you were doing at the time when you received it.
The Holy Spirit desires to speak to us all in amazing ways.
When you are connected to Jesus, you will begin to recognize His voice in so many new ways. I t is like a power cord being connected to the electrical outlet.
When that power cord is removed, the power will cut off. We need that direct connection to the King of Kings and The LORD of Lords Jesus Himself once again.
Spending time in His Word, communion and conversing with Him will bring you into the deeper life in Jesus.
“He uncovers deep things out of darkness,and brings the shadow of death to light,” Job 12:22.
“For God may speak in one way, or in another, Yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds. Then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction. In order to turn man from his deed, and conceal pride from man, He keeps back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword,” Job 33:14-18.
“Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding; for her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, and her gain than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies, and all the things you may desire cannot compare with her. Length of days is in her right hand, in her left hand riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, and happy are all who retain her,” Proverbs 3:13-18.
“He reveals deep and secret things;He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him,” Daniel 2:22.

The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age

9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
The Great Tribulation
15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the [c]elect’s sake those days will be shortened.
23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand.
26 “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 28 For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
AMEN. Thank for this post. I have had meaning dreams, and started recording them in a journal as well. In addition, I have purchased biblical-based books on interpretations of dreams.

Everyone reading your postings are probably Christ-minded and knows He talks to us in dreams so it’s definitely not foolish to me!! Dreams are good but even better when the Holy Spirit gives the interpretation! God Bless
