Ezekiel & Why the Upcoming Election Doesn’t Matter (Updated)
Today, God spoke to me “Ezekiel!”
The story of Ezekiel’s time and his message is astounding and relates to today.
In line with this, unlike 95% of so called ‘prophets’, messengers, and preachers of God today, my take is very different to the consumer-driven idea that God is only ever ‘for’ His people and never has any controversy with them or the world.
Most of the prophetic today is simply from the imaginations of people’s own hearts and what they are telling themselves and others.
They have made God like them and so believe that what comes from their own hearts and minds is what God has said about them and about the future.
It is a deception God has allowed, because it has confirmed people in the sin they have embraced and truly live for.
God’s people are loving the world so God is giving it to them for their ‘reward’ and their coming judgment.
Unlike the deluge of false prophecy today, God has not spoken to me through the years of unending prosperity to come, peace in our time, or the obedience of God’s people.
He has not spoken to me that all is well, that there is nothing amiss, and that all that is to come is deliverance, healing, and good times.
He has especially not spoken to me that American presidents — or any other world leaders — will negate or change the Judgment that is to come upon His People for their continued idolatry, unfaithfulness, unfruitfulness, mixture with the world and unwillingness to be corrected.
If we as God’s People don’t repent now, and continue in repentance, then come November and beyond, any US President will continue to speed the coming of God’s great Judgment upon America and upon the world.
Other Nations are no better!
God is not interested (in the main sense) in who is ‘leading’ any Nation (why would He care who HE puts into power, for every position is from Him and established by Him for HIS purposes – see Romans 13:1), He is primarily interested in HIS PEOPLE and HIS CHURCH, where judgment must begin (in our day — 1 Peter 4:17).
Ezekiel’s message is clear and relates to the world today.
If God’s people don’t repent in this season, it won’t matter who is elected as president in the USA.
Whoever is elected in America, will simply be used to swiftly advance Judgment upon America and the world.
My take on America (from what God has shown me in dreams, and spoken to me from The Bible and in many Prophetic Words) — is that it is in its twilight era.
We are [all] in the remaining years it has left before judgment will come upon it with great vengeance, power, and finality.
In my opinion, its current candidates embody and exacerbate great wickedness (whether of policy or person) while trying to justify that wickedness with political policies that in no way lessen their own wickedness or the wickedness of God’s own People’s hearts and lives, unfruitfulness, idolatrous worship and disobedience to God’s Word and ways.
God has made it clear to me that like with Ezekiel, no one will listen to this message.
This is also part of God’s Judgment; God ensuring that judgment will come to us as America and The Nations of the world deserve.
God’s House and Church will be attacked, and like in Ezekiel’s day the damage will be disastrous and bring great desolation.
In Ezekiel’s day, Israel’s idolatry had become so bad that they had made it part of their worship.
As a result, Ezekiel saw God’s Glory leave The Temple and leave Jerusalem.
In a large way, that is what the Church in America and around the world is now facing (one could say it has already been happening for the last few years, many churches in America and the West are obviously dead or near complete spiritual death).
God is leaving His temple, in a sense leaving His people because of their idolatry, and because they have refused to be corrected, fruitful, or amend their ways.
Perhaps there is still time for this to change, but God is saying that His people will not listen.
Ezekiel was warned in his day that even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were alive to intercede for mercy for Israel, it would not matter, it would be too late.
In the same way no amount of intercession or cries for mercy will avail in our day now either while His people remain defiant, unyielding, and close their ears.
We have crossed the threshold — perhaps we did so years ago.
We continue to trample upon God’s Grace; rebel from His ways; remain largely fruitless for His Kingdom, and embrace idolatry and mixture with the world.
Like in Ezekiel’s message, God will somehow turn us from our ways and better days will eventually be ahead when The LORD returns, but that will not come before great Judgment to discipline us, humble us, and to teach us that only He is God and worthy of Devotion and Worship.
Before thinking anything about this message or being offended, please read Ezekiel 15, and study the Message and Book of Ezekiel.
God is far more concerned with His people, than He is the world, and Judgment must begin at God’s own House — and it will!
If you believe this Prophecy is difficult and offensive, try reading Ezekiel and decide for yourself whether God is just, true in His ways, and knows the hearts of mankind and what should come upon the world and His Church.

Postscript
In context to the above: in my opinion, the upcoming US Election DOES matter if,
- The Church repents,
- the Church prays for the leadership, and
- if the Government and leadership itself acknowledges God, and the need for the Nation and Church to repent and cry out to Jesus,
- the Government allows time for all this to take place.
Even in Ninevah’s day there was hope when God pronounced judgment and a message of judgment. Then the Nation turned.
May America heed the same message Ninevah took seriously — and turn!

So yes, restraining evil through our vote is a very real thing today.
Friends, we really do have a responsibility before God to engage in the nation in which we live. The Lord told us in Luke 19:13 to occupy until He returns. Part of the occupation process requires us to be a good steward of what we’ve been given. This does not simply refer to our time and talents; this is maintaining a nation from which the Gospel can pour out unto all the earth. What does this have to do with voting? Ask yourself this question: if I, as a Christian do not vote, but my neighbor who is a liberal does vote, what influence does that have in my city? In my state? In my nation? Will they vote for Biblical values? Will they vote to protect the life of our preborn citizens? Will they protect Israel? Will they fight to end child trafficking at the border? Will the policies that come out of those candidates my neighbor votes for reflect my values or the world’s values?
It’s decision time for all of us.
No, the upcoming election is very very important!!!!!!
Very good replies CCB. It’s important that all American vote.
I also believe repentance is important.
God is calling for repentance. He will judge those who don’t repent.
God bless!
