God’s Tools Are Not Great, Smart and Popular Men
He, the great man who graces the Pulpit with great wisdom and showmanship — is not of God!
God does not need him — for God is not going to share His Glory with a glory seeker!
God’s Ideas of Ministry are considered foolish to the World, for God can take foolish men to accomplish what He wants done — and even weak things to work for Him.
It has been often observed that God does not need highly trained men, trained in great knowledge and ability to bring down and confound those who are esteemed to be mighty.
Take one Bible Character whom God used to kill a Giant for instance — DAVID — who was an unknown and simple shepherd boy with only a “sling shot and one smooth rock” to accomplish what the mighty warriors could not accomplish.
God does not need great men to serve him, He only needs someone who will simply be “a fool for Jesus”.
He may be the least likely of all other men, yet, God can use him to do a Mighty Work!
Consider then these Scriptures as proof:
“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence.
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: that, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in The LORD.” 1 Corinthians 1:27-31.
So, religious and great men are not necessarily the answer to accomplish great things!
To the World of Religious Scribes and Pharisees, God chose a man from out of the desert, a man dressed camel hair and with a leather girdle — a man eating locust and wild honey!
“In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of The LORD, make his paths straight. And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.” Matthew 3:1-4.
That is why God can take a Foolish Man, who can barely speak, and is small in stature to walk tall and defeat the enemy.
God can even make a Ass [donkey in the eyes of the world] to speak when men cannot speak the mighty message!
