A miracle happened today….
I left the house driving the road grader to Desert Zion, but, before I left Celeste and I laid hands on the grader with anointing oil.
We walked all around, the grader praying in tongues and asking God to put His hands on the grader ~ all the many parts of the motor and all drive lines, gears and tires.
We asked God to send angels to help me get to Desert Zion……..
It is a little over 14 miles from the house here to Desert Zion, and there is a hill near 300 feet high with a steep road going up to the top. The brakes do not work, and I haven’t had funds enough to have them fixed seeing it would be expensive, [but you must know the grader has some very low gears and I have never failed stopping the grader with in low gear.]
I knew if something happened going up that hill… If the grader stalled out or if the gear was not set in a slow enough speed, I would not be able to stop the grader from rolling backward.
It was very dangerous to say the least, but I had to get to Desert Zion, [the enemy has fought me so hard all the way to the work on the roads].
As I went up the hill I was looking to see where I could coast to in reverse if something happened. I was studying the options just in case of an emergency!
As I was going I had it in the low gear of #1, but there is a crawl gear even lower. You have to know it is so slow it would have taken over 30 minutes to go up that hill.
I was just sure the grader would pull up that hill in first gear, so I proceeded praying in tongues all the way……. But the grader stalled half way up at the steepest place [it was about to kill the engine!].
You must know at that moment I had to release the clutch to shift down into crawl gear [which is very difficult even sitting still and not moving]. Matter of fact, it was all but impossible for me to shift down because of the way the old gear shifts are arranged on the grader.
To tell you the truth, I still have difficulty knowing exactly how to shift them at times. But God….. at…. this time…. I did feel a presence grab my hands and suddenly I was able to shift the gear into crawl.
I released the clutch and the grader went forward again up the hill at a crawl. You must know I did feel the grader begin to move backwards already! Honestly, it seemed so easy when the angel grabbed my hands and suddenly shifted the gear perfectly!
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that an angel helped me shift that gear. If I had not been able to do so, the grader would have rolled backward down the hill and possibly turned over in the ditch or done damage to things down the hill.
Oh, and I forgot to tell you that Celeste was following me a short distance behind in the pick-up truck. She was scared so bad, we both had a rejoicing spell at the top of the hill!
Praise God. I praise him with all my heart knowing that the angel did help me today shift gear, and he saved my life and the grader.
I went on up the hill to Desert Zion and was able to plow out three miles of new road in a place where no plowed road had ever been before.
The work has begun on the road to Desert Zion, and just to say with “A miracle of help of the angel”.
I will add some pictures tomorrow on Facebook of the grader plowing out the new road.
I just had to share this miracle. I believe in miracles and I believe in angels. If you ask God for the angels to help… they will!
