“Then he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from the altar before the LORD, with his hands full of sweet incense beaten fine, and bring it inside the veil. And he shall put the incense on the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of incense may cover the mercy seat that is on the Testimony, lest he die,” Leviticus 16:2-13, NKJV.
“Let my prayer be set before You as incense, The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice,” Psalm 141:2, NKJV.
“Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints,” Revelation 5:8, NKJV.
While singing to the LORD, I perceived in my spirit the following:
My act of worship was like the high priest making ready to enter behind the veil into the Holy of Holies.
I took coals from the altar that burns within my inner man and heaped incense upon the coals. This incense was the manifestation of my songs of worship and praise as all of my focus was on my KING.
A cloud arose from the incense and wafted up through my being and out of my head. The more I released myself into singing to an audience of ONE, the thicker the cloud.
I pray that in our corporate times of praise and worship we will enter into the place where we can release these clouds of worship incense to HIM.
Let the fire of HIS Love burn in our inner selves so that our worship can be pure and that it will produce the sweet aroma of our love returning to HIM in the cloud.
May the impression of HIS hand mark your souls.
May your worship come from a pure heart.
May your ways be pleasing to our KING.
May you know HIM in the power of HIS Resurrection all the days of your lives.
Blessings & Courage in Jesus’ name.
