It’s Time to Tell on Hell!
A year or so back, I watched a video clip of the rich and famous who have died this past year.
It’s a roll call of some of the best loved stars of music, film, and television.
We don’t know of course their last words, thoughts, or even prayers, but it is fair to say that the majority died not knowing and certainly not acknowledging Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
Yet the Bible says very clearly what awaits those who don’t believe in Him.
The Bible calls it Hell.
The Church doesn’t talk about it, even less preach about it!
It’s time to put a little more ‘Hell’ in our preaching.
As Billy Graham once said, “If we had a little more Hell in the pulpit, there’d be a little less Hell in the pews!”
Actually, a more powerful quote came from Penn Jillette, the comedian/ magician who was and still probably is a confirmed atheist.
He had an encounter with a really loving Christian business man and said, words to the effect of,
“If you really believe there is a heaven and a hell, and if you know someone who doesn’t believe it, how much must you HATE them to NOT tell them how to avoid the one in order to get to the other?”
GOOD QUESTION!
He went on to liken it to watching a big truck bearing down on someone crossing the road and not warning them to get out of the way!
Brothers and sisters it’s time to bring Hell to the attention of the unsaved so that we can guide them through how to avoid it.

Chris Bennett came to salvation in 1962 but didn’t begin ministry until 2007 — a late-comer! Now mandated by The LORD to prophesy and open old wells of revival in the U.K., but especially in Wales. He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them! Founder, with wife Linda, of their ministry The Upper Room Encounter.
It’s not fair to say, the Church does not preach hell. I know for a fact this one does. I’m a hell fire and brimstone type of preacher. It may not be a popular message.
But a very needful one. Jesus preached it so must we. We must warn the people of that horrible fate, before its to late. Winn the lost at every cost.
