Jehova Jireh! …God is our Provider!

“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds them.  Are you not much more valuable than they?”   Matthew 6:26.

Don’t fret, the Lord our God is the provider and sustainer of everyone and everything in the earth!  The earth is the Lord’s, the fullness thereof and they that dwell their in (Psalm 24:1).  The Word of God says that in Him we live, move and have our being!

Long before there were governments, God was providing for us in the Garden of Eden!  It is God that sustains and provides for his creation and not man!  If He feeds and provide for the birds and take care of the lilies in the field, how much more will he provide for and take care of his children?  When you are connected to God, you have access to his kingdom provision.  So therefore, there is no famine in God or in His economy!

The Lord declares that gold is mine and the silver is mine saith the Lord (Haggai 2:8).  Every animal in the forest and the cattle upon a thousand hills belong to the Lord (Psalm 50:10).  So being his children, provision is already made for us!  The righteous will never be forsaken (Psalm 37:25).  Even if you can’t see how you are going to make it, trust in the Lord and believe His word.  He will even make a river in the desert for His people.  Our lord God will provide and He will make a way when there seems to be no way!

  1. Habakkuk 3:17-19
    New King James Version (NKJV)
    A Hymn of Faith
    17 Though the fig tree may not blossom,
    Nor fruit be on the vines;
    Though the labor of the olive may fail,
    And the fields yield no food;
    Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
    And there be no herd in the stalls—
    18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
    I will joy in the God of my salvation.
    19 The Lord God[a] is my strength;
    He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
    And He will make me walk on my high hills.
