Let The LORD Fight Your Battles!
People of God we have the fiercest Warrior of all times.
Why should we fear?
Just start praising The LORD and He comes to our rescue!
The LORD tells us to be angry and sin not — because anger is His job!
“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: neither give place to the devil.” Ephesians 4:26-27.
God’s anger is working against sin.
The rulers of darkness have no chance of escaping from His indignation and wrath.
Go on a vacation and know that your house will still be standing when you return.
“God is jealous, and The LORD revengeth; The LORD revengeth, and is furious; The LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies. The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: The LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth. The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.” Nahum 1:2-7.
I remember an adult saying abusive things to me when I was a kid.
I did not know how to handle the negative words but my mother was standing nearby.
She did not hear the entire conversation — but she was ready to fight!
I thank God for mama. Now Jesus takes the lead in my life — He is my rear-guard.
No weapon formed against me shall prosper — IT JUST WON’T WORK!
I refuse to step out of my place and give the devil what I have fought for these many years.
Right now — I am going to put on a pot of beans because I know God got this battle!
“Rest in The LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon The LORD, they shall inherit the earth.” Psalm 37:7-9.
A Psalm of David.
“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of The LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of The LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of The LORD, and to inquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto The LORD.” Psalm 27:1-6.
“Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of The LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for The LORD will be with you.” 2 Chronicles 20:17.
“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of The LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. This day will The LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all this assembly shall know that The LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is The LORD’S, and he will give you into our hands.” 1 Samuel 17:45-47.

Mary Adger is in ministry for The LORD and runs her own website “In it for Him”, for when God says “BE STILL” He is just trying to get us to that perfect place in His will.
This is so timely because I’ve been dealing with a couple who are witches in my neighborhood. They hate me for no other reason except I carry the light of Christ. They’ve placed all sorts of witchcraft items in my yard (hair, dead animals in boxes, ropes that were tied in knots, etc.) and they’ve even taken a part from my car (plastic guard on the window shield). However, I continue to render them powerless and unfruitful. Now, the Lord has shown me that He’s had enough and I’ve been praying Psalm 35 & 37. He is making a distinction between the righteous and the wicked in this hour. He fights for me. Amen!
