Little Things
I feel the presence of The Holy Spirit stirring me.
He is excited!
I see a stick! It’s just standing in front of me on a patch of fairly dry earth, with a fast flowing river very close.
I see the stick move to the water and I see an axe head float up to the surface. I can almost sense Elisha close by.
I ask The LORD, “What are you showing me, please?”
“I AM The God of the impossible!” says The LORD.
“Its not in the great things, not in the parting of the waters, but in the little, every day things.
Things that seem impossible to you, but which are easy for Me, and which will have meaning and impact for those I am calling through you!”
He then showed me healings, quick simple healings that brought great and fast relief to many.
He went on, “Tell those who would follow Me that they will do these things and greater than these and others will turn to me because of what they see happening in front of them.
In the street,
In the market place,
In the cafe,
At the gas station
My power knows no boundaries, no exempt places, no restrictions.
Don’t look for the big things!
Don’t seek the spectacular — leave that to Me!
Do the little, everyday things and do them often.
When you show Me your acorn seed, I will show you, and give you, the mighty oak that produces much more fruit!
I AM waiting for you to exercise your Faith so that I can show the world My Power!” says The LORD.

Chris Bennett came to salvation in 1962 but didn’t begin ministry until 2007 — a late-comer! Now mandated by The LORD to prophesy and open old wells of revival in the U.K., but especially in Wales. He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them! Founder, with wife Linda, of their ministry The Upper Room Encounter.
