In the center of all creation history and time, stands a Cross — The Cross upon which Jesus Christ, the Son of God, did die for the sins of the world.
“and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world,” 1 John 2:2.
A certain Cross upon which God did send to save any and all who would believe and receive its message.
The Old Testament believers looked forward to see The Cross by faith. To them the message and the one upon The Cross was and is the most important message of salvation ever given to man.
The scripture found in Hebrews 11 states that they were saved by faith… but… they were not made perfect until Jesus Christ died for “them”.
The writer of Hebrews tells it this way: without us [those who have been saved by The Grace of God through believing in the message of The Cross (and the resurrection from the grave, taking victory over sin) ]….. They were not made perfect!
“… and these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise, God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect,” Hebrews 11:39-40.
The perfect refers to the total forgiveness and acceptance of them as sinners, being made perfect [by The Blood of Jesus Christ] and by His death for sin.
Those Old Testament believers were also made perfect by the work of Jesus Christ on that central Cross….. They did look forward to what the New Testament believers look back at, The Cross!
There has never been a more important event in this history of the world greater than The Cross [death of Jesus for the sins of the world] of Jesus Christ! The good news of the Gospel is that Jesus died for sinners [from the beginning of the world till now and forever].
The central Cross is ……………. Good news.
The good part is Jesus died for the sins of all the men of the entire world… and did once and for all time…
Sit down [after his resurrection from the grave] with his father, till all men who would “hear” that “Gospel message of The Cross”.
“Above when he said, sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; then said he, lo, I come to do thy will, o god. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the Body of Jesus Christ once for all and every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: but this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; from henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.” Hebrews 10:8-14.
Look to The Cross and live! All men from all creation are saved by the same Cross!

I have written this teaching word in obedience to The Holy Spirit teacher. LORD, help men see The Cross and know the message of good news it brought to all who believe and receive.
