My Pocketful of Sunshine
A psalm to praise and sing to God aloud.
My Pocketful of Sunshine
You are my Pocketful of Sunshine I take everywhere I go
Filled to the top and spilling over, a never ending flow
Your Light spreads everywhere my feet tread
Radiating rays so bright every shadow flees
I can’t hold back—
This Sunshine is growing brighter
I can’t keep track—
This Sunshine is spreading faster
Whoa, whoa, working in and through me
Your Sunshine is in full control
You are my light I take everywhere I go
Steady even when the wind blows
Resisting the darkness and lies
Giving warmth and hope to lost souls—
Oh with Your SPIRIT, I spread the Gospel
One word, one verse at a time
Oh Your Love and Salvation forever part grey skies
What a wonderful Pocketful of Sunshine!
I can’t hold back—
This Sunshine is growing brighter
I can’t keep track—
This Sunshine is spreading faster
Whoa, whoa, working in and through me
Your Sunshine is in full control!
You are my Pocketful of Sunshine I take everywhere I go!
No matter the season, no matter the time
You break through the darkest of skies
Always shining!
You are my Pocketful of Sunshine!
Oh yes, you are!
I can’t hold back—
This Sunshine is growing brighter
I can’t keep track—
This Sunshine is spreading faster
Whoa, whoa, working in and through me
Your Sunshine is in full control!
You are my Pocketful of Sunshine I take everywhere I go!
Whoa, whoa!
Filled to the top and spilling over, a never ending flow!
Whoa, whoa!
Your Sunshine is in full control!
You are my Pocketful of Sunshine!
Oh yes, you are!
You are my Pocketful of Sunshine!
Oh yes, you are!
Always shining!
“To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.” Colossians 1:27-28 NKJV.
“And now The LORD says, Who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, To bring Jacob back to Him, So that Israel is gathered to Him (For I shall be glorious in the eyes of the Lord, And My God shall be My strength), Indeed He says, “It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, And to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ” Isaiah 49:5-6 NKJV.
“Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I AM the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”” John 8:12 NKJV.
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 NKJV.
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.” Psalm 23:5 NKJV.
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 NKJV.
“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38 NKJV.
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21 NKJV.
