This afternoon, the LORD said that many folks are making up that demons chasing them and that God is speaking to them and it is nothing more than an illusion of their own demonic spirits!
They are always crying that someone is jealous of them and are looking over their shoulder, because they walk in sin and are afraid they will soon be caught and exposed for who they truly are: FAKE!
The Saul spirit always believes someone is jealous and envious of them. They cannot stand to see anyone else getting credit or being in the limelight unless they put they had something to do with it and they can share can in the people’s glory or their praises.
And not only that, but they cannot stand to see others in their own ministries surpass them unless they are getting some type of credit for what that person is doing.
In fact, this Saul spirit will even go to unusual links to find away to usually limit what that person is doing in the Church limiting his public exposure; especially if it looks as though that person will out shine them in any way or fashion.
They will even go so far as to still your ideas and use them as their own just to get the credit, because God is no longer speaking to them! As a result, they believe that members are envious and jealous of them which also helps to feeds their paranoia.
Five things to identify these chameleon Saul spirits are:
The LORD said to me that these folks do not have the characteristics of a servant of Christ.
These Sauls bleed out of their hearts the stink of pride, aloofness, and an over-inflated sense of importance.
They overestimate their achievements while stubbornly refusing to acknowledge others’ accomplishments or abilities, because their significance (low self esteem) is threatened as well as their un-willingness to admit their deep admiration and desire to crave attention.
Narcissists are offended when others do not share their opinions of themselves and often become vengeful, just as King Saul did.
You see, a true Saul narcissists is always preoccupied with their own delusional fantasies of unlimited success, and they are not interested in truth or reality; especially the word of God that will bring either correction or rebuke.
Because, they have cooked up a vision of success for themselves that becomes their own fleshly obsessions rather than the way God mirrors them through his eyes!
Help us Holy Ghost! You see, the LORD is saying that these fantasies are often bred by the vain promises of church growth, fantasies as to how God is using them, how much money they have accumulated, and how blessed they are and images presented by megachurches and television ministries; instead of what God has planned for them!
In the mean time, when God sends a word of correction, chastisement or rebuke they quickly identify it as being from the enemy, or that it is contradictory facts, and information.
So it makes them angry, and the messenger is denounced as negative. Just as Saul did when Jonathan tried to tell him David meant him no harm.
“And, Saul begin to turn on Jonathan because it was not what he wanted to hear! But, Jonathan answered Saul his father and said to him, ‘Why should he be put to death? What has he done?’ Then Saulhurled his spear at him to strike him down; so Jonathan knew that his father had decided to put David to death,'”1 Samuel 20: 32-33.
The LORD said, this information that Saul received, was all an illusion of his own mind and no one was after him but himself!
Watch out in this season, for those who always think someone is jealous of them or out to get them, because it just might be a spirit of paranoia. You see, King Saul had disobeyed God and the spirit that was troubling him was a spirit that God allowed to trouble him and the shadow that was following him and that had attached itself to him was an evil spirit of disobedience!
But, he thought it was David who was out to get him, but he was deceive from the heart of his own evil doing looking over his shoulders as though someone was chasing him!
Like many of us do when our hands have been caught in the cookie jar and you have been warned to stay away! You see, the LORD is revealing that many churches have been destroyed because they were led into doing things that was not spirit led but self-lead!
Another, thing that you will see in the person who holds the spirit of Saul is that they lack empathy for the people (they really only care about their own agendas; although they pretend to be concerned) as Saul did when he told the people to fast after they had decided to go into war and needed all their strength and could have won a tremendous victory that day, but was too weak to fight!
He did not care that the people were hungry and were tired, so he made an oath cursed, be the man who eats before he avenges his enemies. So Jonathan, not knowing his foolish oath, ate honey and was revived, but when Saul heard about it, he became so angry with Jonathan he wanted to kill him, (1 Samuel 14).
Sounds familiar,? Your leader gives an order and you are the one who does not hear it and so he bashes you for everyone to see and hear, instead of trying to find out whether you were told, or not?
But, the Saul spirit does not like to be challenged and or confronted to look as though you are showing them up, and as a result will come out swinging!
The LORD revealed to me that this spirit wants to be in a relationship with people of a high stature and it feels as though they’re in titled and everything and everybody surrounds them should bow down to them because of this entitlement.
In fact, the indirect symptom of the Saul spirit is codependency among those surrounding their leadership such as: staff, board, administration and family.
When this particular leader spins out of control, these same people who are abused and controlled by this spirit will make excuses for the person’s behavior instead of holding them accountable and responsible, for it was that many of Saul’s men did for him because they were afraid of what he would do.
So, what many Churches do today, is that they try to conceal the dark side from the congregation, explaining, spinning, and otherwise doing damage control so no one will notice.
Forgetting that God almighty sees low and high and no one shall escape his wrath! In fact, further damage is sure to be overworked codependents occurs when they fail to say no to further demands and/ or feel compelled to compromise their own integrity to hide their leader’s indiscretions that are never repented of or is held accountable for.
The LORD is speaking and one thing that the Saul narcissists must do in this season is repent, cease from their denial, delusions, paranoia, rationalizations, and the making excuses for their ill behavior, and begin to acknowledging their weaknesses while seeking God’s strength and God’s grace in this hour, for God so loved the world that he willingly gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life! (John 3:16).
But leaders, as well as the people of God, must be willing to open themselves up to the scrutiny of the Word of God; as well as the correction and rebuke of those whom God has made us accountable to as Saul was to Samuel.
In this season, God is saying that it is a good idea for leaders (people of God) to take out personal time to spend time in the Word, asking God to search your heart and motives as we spend time in his presence daily as David did when he said, “LORD create in me a clean heart oh god and renew the right spirit in me O LORD and take not thy Holy Spirit away from me!”
Remember, anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it — not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it — they will be blessed in what they do; rather than the mirror of their delusion, paranoia and schizophrenia! (James 1:23–25).
