Prophecy — A Revelation and a Mirror!
A Prophet is not exempt from the Message they preach or deliver.
When God speaks, it’s both a Revelation and a Mirror.
It reveals God’s heart and also reflects ours — so when we say “God gave me a Word,” or “Something rest on my heart” — we are not only receiving Divine Insight, we’re also being weighed ourselves.
So many of us as Ministers seem to lack humility and self-awareness.
A true Word from God, will pierce the speaker just as much as the hearer.
It should cause the one delivering it to tremble, not just the audience to nod or feel convicted.
The Word of God is Living and Active, sharper than any two-edged sword…” (Hebrews 4:12).
That sword cuts both ways first inward, then outward. If it doesn’t pierce us first, we risk using it to wound instead of heal.
The Prophets in Scripture weren’t just messengers — they were deeply affected by The Words themselves.
Think of Isaiah saying, “Woe is me! I am undone” before he ever said anything to Israel (Isaiah 6).
I see a lot of preachers loud on social media about one thing while living the same life and sadly, it’s more common than we’d like to admit.
The stage becomes a mask, and the Anointing gets used like a costume.
When I was messy — even after being called to Ministry — I chose to step back and told God, “I’m not going to perform!”
About three or so years I stopped posting, never did a live chat, nor a video. I refused to play a part.
That’s what pleases God.
That’s The Fear of The LORD. That’s authenticity, and it’s rare.
God is far more honored by your silence in humility than loudness in hypocrisy.
When we are actively living in contradiction, it’s not just offensive — it’s dangerous. It creates confusion, especially for babes in Christ.
I discipline my body… so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified… (1 Corinthians 9:27).
Postscript
Am I perfect? Absolutely not!
Daily my prayer is “Father search me!
“The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.” Proverbs 20:27.
I’m realizing more and more the importance of The Wilderness and The Potter’s Wheel.
Shalom

Amazing..thank you..
“I’m realizing more and more the importance of The Wilderness and The Potter’s Wheel.”
Yes, we all need to realize the Potter is still working us on His potter’s wheel. What He molds us into is His choice for His glory, not ours. Let us be willing vessels, used for His good pleasure.
POWERFUL TRUTH!!!
This absolutely MUST be so in our lives!!

“Sharpening our swords…but He pierces our own heart first!
HalleluYah!!
We must stay on that wheel allowing The Potter to finish His work! Awesome & encouraging word
May we yield to His Ruach
Thank you for posting (confirmation to what He’s been showing me recently)
This is so true. With so much church exposures happening, many ministers are becoming defensive and verbally harsh with their congregation. It is almost as if they are trying to break the congregation before their personal problems are brought up. Unless the church sees that the ministers submitting to the same standard, the message will be weakened
