Reign in His Rain!
I just heard, “I AM the Healing Rain, I AM coming, My Beloved. My Spirit is being poured out, the Latter Rain for such a time as this. REIGN IN MY RAIN.”
“So let us know, let us press on to know The LORD. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; and He will come to us like the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth,” Hosea 6:3.
“For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one Man, Jesus Christ!” Romans 5:17.

Dear sisters and brothers, thinking on the coronavirus today, The Holy Spirit reminded me of the ministry of John G Lake, a famous Spirit filled preacher and missionary from the early 1900’s, and how he healed the sick, and did not get the sicknesses himself (bubonic plague no less) and saw many miraculous healings.
I believe God is wanting the church to not back down in fear but to RISE UP in faith and confront the enemy head on for GREATER is He who is in us than he who is in the world!
No more fence sitting, amen? No more fear! No more double mindedness!
Our God is not a man that He would lie. The whole earth is groaning for the sons and daughters of God to come forth!
We were BORN to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. Jesus laid hands on a leper — He didn’t receive leprosy, NO, the leprosy had to leave that person and it did!
The Bible says the we have died to self, and now Jesus Christ lives through us. We are His body and His representatives on earth.
We are His Hands and Feet. Time for us to show the world Who Jesus is!
You are MORE than a conqueror through Him who loves you!! We have to make up our minds to take God at His Word. Amen?
Jesus said in Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give unto you AUTHORITY to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL the power of the enemy: and NOTHING shall by any means hurt you.”
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk “according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death,” Romans 8:1-2.
On 22 April 1911, John G Lake wrote a letter from South Africa to Carrie Judd Montgomery in which he explained the “secret” of his success in healing the sick, where miracles had become almost commonplace. The letter reads as follows :
“Dear Carrie, I am enclosing with this letter some news of what The LORD is doing among us in terms of healing. A while back I wrote what I thought was a helpful letter on the subject of divine healing to a missionary by the name of Hoover, at Valparaiso in Chile.
The letter set out what I regard as the secret of the dynamic ministry of healing which the Pentecostal movement of South Africa practices. Unfortunately I didn’t retain a copy of that letter but I’ll arrange for one to be sent to you.
I feel that what we are doing in terms of healing is more cutting-edge than what the Pentecostal movement in general is doing. I am really convinced that God has laid it deeply on my heart to teach how the Kingdom of Jesus Christ is being advanced at this time.
The secret of our success in healing ministry is due to the fact that we teach our ministry teams to pray prayers of command (which they have the authority from God to do once they have been baptized in the Holy Spirit), while in other healing ministries they still follow largely the old practice of praying prayers of petition and asking God to heal the sick.
This is how we get the results we are getting : we don’t pray in the traditional way for God to come and heal the sick. Instead, believing that He has baptized us in the Holy Spirit, and that we have received the authority of God through that baptism, we command the devil and his works to depart in the Name of Jesus.
(Of course I’m not suggesting that there aren’t also times when God sends a real spirit of intercession for a sick individual on Christians and that their prayers make a difference in the healing outcome).
But I am convinced that there is this widely unrecognized and more successful way of praying for the sick, namely that of exercising the authority of God over the devil and his sicknesses that, when learned by Christians, will put the ministry of healing miles in advance of where it is now.
Think of verses such as Acts 3;6 where Peter said “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you.” What did Peter have? He had the authority that Jesus had given him.
I don’t think the church has ever really caught the force of Jesus’ words “proclaim release to the captives”.
In terms of my own journey into healing, there were a number of significant milestones. My interest in healing first arose when I heard of a young man from Detroit who had been healed in one of your centers in Buffalo.
Then, many years after that, I heard teaching from John Alexander Dowie and really began to understand the subject of healing.
However it was only after I was baptized in the Holy Spirit that I received the anointing and authority which God gives all believers and this compelled me to command sickness and the devil to leave, rather than ask The LORD that He would take them away.

Thank You Lord Jesus for instructions
I was waiting for instructions this Sunday, from those the Lord Jesus sent here also; we are receiving divine protection in the land. Glory be to Creator God. Always be thankful to God in all things, He is GOD and He know all things. God is love and He can do all things, also vindicate His servants in the process to save all who will receive His grace. But we humans need to be careful not to blame each other of anything before time, 1 Cor. 4:5 says, “Therefore, do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, Who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purpose of the heart. Then each one will receive commendation from God”. There is a great need of sober-mindedness and agape-love because there is a net of deception sent about through those God is showing His anger toward to. Repent is the only way.
Indeed, God is good; in fact, He is the only good one. It is always, not just now in the situation, it is always imperative to wait for the Lords’ commands through words and visions, and yes, through elders He sends our way in the land and internet. While I was in a small Bible College in Seattle, 1976-1988, their book store made available John G. Lake’s book Adventures in God. Lake’s story, as well as those of William Branham, A.A. Allen; RW Shambach (who also ministered with Allen), Oral Roberts, Lester Sumrall, and others, really impacted my life in God. I borrowed Lake’s book title, Adventures in God, for my own Life In Jesus. During the 60’s thru the 80’s, the Lord was “moving” in profound Ways, especially for me who was raised in the Episcopal church.HA! I was able to attend some Shambach and Sumrall meetings. Praise God, those WERE some wonderful times!
As a result of reading Lake’s book I became interested in Spokane, WA, where Lake’s ministry took place. Lake established “healing rooms” in Spokane where he and his team would pray for the sick. In fact, at the height of his ministry, as I recall, the Surgeon General of the U.S., at that time, declared Spokane the healthiest city in the States!
My wife and I began to have Spokane “on our hearts”. I tried every which way to find work in Spokane so we could move there, but came up with nothing. Long story short, The Lord, in His Time, opened His Door for us to work and live in Spokane, where we have lived since 1998, along with our children and grandchildren. From the moment we moved here my wife and I “felt led” to research Lake even further. We even went to the city library and was able to find microfiche of old newspaper articles about Lake and his healing rooms. Not too long after this a group of saints, led by Cal Pierce, began to pray for the Lord to move in Spokane as in Lake’s day. I joined this group to pray and see what God would do. Lake’s original healing rooms (as I recall), in downtown Spokane, were reopened to pray for the sick and minister in other ways. I eventually left the group for my own reasons. The Gift and ministry of healings has always been on my heart and still is. I have prayed for many sick and seen some wonderful results. This began in Bible college, a Pentecostal, and non-denominational training center. We commanded, declared, rebuked demons, interceded, etc for healing and deliverance. There were results BUT not as much as we had hoped and prayed for. I realize there are other factors attached to people not being healed, but we were, and still are, looking for the Heavens to open and The Former and Later Rains to fall down and move in UNPRECEDENTED WAYS! UNPRECEDENTED is The Operative Word!! Nothing like it before or to follow! We cannot keep trying to “warm David” when The Greater Solomon is about to Birth. The Glory of The Later House(Christ + Bride, Amos 9:11) WILL BE GREATER than the former house(Moses, 2Cor 3:1-18).
I truly believe, by His Spirit, that His Body has been in a holding pattern of sorts. These times have and are for the Body’s Preparation consisting of Healing , Restoration, and Recovery. The Lord is bringing His dry bones back together, HIMSELF, and about to Clothe us with His Own Glory. Many ministries in the past and present have misused His Gifts for self aggrandizement. This Great Revealing of His Body, Bride and Sons of God, will not have a whiff of this self promotion. On the contrary, The Humility, Surrender, and Obedience of His True Church will be some of the many Jewels of His Spirit that will bedeck It! These Fruits of Humility will draw many others into True Discipleship. However! We, who believe we are in this Company, MUST wait for His Commands and Instructions. It is in our rest and yielding that The Father will be able to entrust His True Church with His Great Spirit and Power. His Bride is to continue in making Herself ready, waiting for His LOGOS to come forth. If not, and people run ahead of Him because of deception, the system of Satan will continue to grow.
Is God REALLY Calling forth His Great Army at this Time? I can’t speak for any other Member of The Body of Christ, but I know, for myself, this member is awaiting His Instructions for my Part in His Great Plan. The Waiting and Holding reminds me of an arrow strung on the bow. The Lord is pulling us back, back, back, increasing the tension on the bow and string. The Bow is Christ who His Own are founded on and The Bow String is The Holy Spirit, that will Let Fly and Empower His Fiery Arrow to Destroy the works of
darkness.
Please Beloved and Cherished of Jesus, DO NOT move out unless you know(test the spirits) it is Jesus, Our Captain, Who is Issuing the Orders to do so. Remember the angel of (false)light. We can minimize the casualties if we Stop(cease from our own works, agendas), Look(Search His Word in The Spirit), and Listen(for His Still, Small, Voice OR THE ROAR!). Therein is our Safety and Assurance. Each Member will have It’s Own Trumpet Call. His Commands and Instructions are Unique to Each One of Us, so DO NOT RELY on others’ calls or Portions of His Spirit(Mt 25:1-13). However, when we, me, do Hear Him, then IT IS TIME TO MOVE. That is one of my prayers. When He tells me to GO, I will go.
