In this life [I speak now to “Believers who are IN Christ”] there are many Tribulations [times of difficulty and trouble which cross our pathways] but through them all we are being BUILT UP by the Master Builder into Patience, Experience ……….. and…. Hope!
It is never easy to go through the School of Tribulations, and nobody has said it would be easy, but, the Graduation Day will only prove out fully God’s great love for us and his eternal plan for us.
No doubt God has planned that we all enjoy and realize fully The Glory of God. All will stand and Glorify God in His Glory!
Today in Tribulation we hope and rest in peace, knowing His Glory is coming. We do sing the old Hymn:
Oh I Want to See Him!
As I journey through the land, singing as I go,
Pointing souls to Calvary—to the crimson flow,
Many arrows pierce my soul from without, within;
But my Lord leads me on, through Him I must win.
Oh, I want to see Him, look upon His face,
There to sing forever of His saving grace;
On the streets of glory let me lift my voice,
Cares all past, home at last, ever to rejoice.
When in service for my Lord dark may be the night,
But I’ll cling more close to Him, He will give me light;
Satan’s snares may vex my soul, turn my thoughts aside;
But my Lord goes ahead, leads whate’er betide.
When in valleys low I look toward the mountain height,
And behold my Savior there, leading in the fight,
With a tender hand outstretched toward the valley low,
Guiding me, I can see, as I onward go.
When before me billows rise from the mighty deep,
Then my Lord directs my bark; He doth safely keep,
And He leads me gently on through this world below;
He’s a real Friend to me, oh, I love Him so.
Scripture of Reference:
“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Romans 5:1-5.
