Another Crie de Coeur (heart cry) from The LORD!

I laughed when I saw this anonymous quote emblazoned on a coffee mug — but then I thought to myself, “I wonder if God sometimes looks at us, scratches His head in puzzlement, and says something very similar?”

I knew God was listening and I just waited and said, “Well, LORD?”

Then I heard, “The words may not be mine, but the sentiment is apt!”

Not wishing to push my luck, but sensing a certain sadness and frustration in His tone, I said, “In what way, LORD?”

The LORD, I suspect not wishing to get too heavy with this, said, “How long have you got?

The list is long and you’ve heard it all before, but when will My People, who are called by My name, listen and act upon My Word?”

I stayed quiet!

“When, for example, will My People begin to understand the Authority I have given them? (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-18)

When will they begin to use it?

Declare a thing and it shall be done for you. (Job 22:28)

I have given them the Chamberlain’s keys — but they just don’t know what to do with them! (Isaiah 22:22 — a chamberlain held the keys to every door in the Kings house. If the chamberlain locked a door, it stayed shut and locked, but if he opened a door, it remained open. )

I speak through My Prophets, but people don’t want to listen.

Some fear prophets, some call them demonic, and many just ignore them.

‘Prophets are a nuisance!’ they say.

‘Evangelists are just fanatical Bible bashers.

Those who heal are just charlatans!

Those in deliverance ministry are ‘children of the devil’, they say.

I hold My shepherds responsible for this and they will answer Me, but I will also hold to answer all who do not fear My Wrath — who have been taught so much but who have still done nothing!

They have said nothing to the evil that surrounds them.

They have ignored injustice, and have ignored the orphan and widow.

Do My People not yet understand?

This is what the shaking is all about.

Repentance is the only answer!”
