Set Your Minds on Things Above

“Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth,”   Colossians 3:2.

What are you going to be doing in this season of turmoil and unrest?

Are you going to continue to be caught-up in the hurricane activity of political unrest, or will you decide instead, to seek the higher ground with Me?

I have called you to set your minds on things above.  I have called you to soar above the mountains.  I have called you to be with Me and My Spirit above the fray of this world.  For the currents around this nation and world, are filled with turbulence.

Many are chained to the earth; for the chains of the activities around them, have bound them.  There is unrest all around.  The sky above is dark as many gaze out upon the horizon.”

(The Spirit of the LORD showed me a scene of a dark landscape.  Some held guns and were ready to shoot.  In the distance a city was a flame amidst the darkness, and above birds could be seen high up as they flew above the ground. And then the vision faded.)

“You are to set your minds on things above, My people.  For if you are continually wrapped-up here, you will be held to the earth.  The enemy would want you to be held here.

For this is where the in-fighting would be happening.

Set your minds on things above; not upon this earth.”

Prophet Stephen HansonStephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to the LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since.  In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God.  Will we be prepared and ready?

  1. Thank you so much for posting what God has been showing you! A while back you wrote a post about the life of a prophet. I knew it was for me, and I thank you for sharing because it spoke directly to my heart!
I am still in training, and it is definitely an interesting road to walk as a prophet but I love it. Being with Him and being so close with Him I would not trade for anything even the road has been very hard at times is worth it because I know that my relationship with Him is growing closer and I get to be a blessing to those He loves.
