So Lovely! So Lovely!
A psalm to praise and sing to God aloud.
Oh So Lovely! So Lovely!
Once again the bee hums
And the butterfly flutters
The bird soars
And the mighty lion roars:
“Once again Spring is here!
The LORD has made it so!
Oh so lovely, so lovely… beyond compare!”
O LORD, it is You that calls in the new season
Commanding the sun to rise even higher
Commanding thunderstorms to bring forth rain
Commanding winds to blow with change
The mountains are clothed in Your majesty—
Their peaks wrapped in the clouds of Your Robe
And the mighty lion roars:
“Once again Spring is here!
The LORD has made it so!
Oh so lovely, so lovely…. beyond compare!”
You, LORD, give the simple things to satisfy
And the beautiful things to delight
You fill the seas with bounty
You fill the land with plenty
You give beyond measure generously
Ohhhhh, ohhhhh, ohhhhhh
Oh so lovely, so lovely…
Grasses drip with dew
Vats overflow with honey
Meadows dance with ewes
Birds sing in symphony
Praise God for the busy bee!
Praise God for the joyful bird!
Praise God for the tiny ewe!
Praise God for every flower in every color!
Miracles of life they are!
And the mighty lion roars:
“Once again Spring is here!
The LORD has made it so!
Oh so lovely, so lovely…. beyond compare!”
Praise Him in His Glory
Praise Him for all His Wonderful Deeds
Praise Him endlessly
He, Who sits on the Throne for eternity
He, Who makes all things exceedingly and wonderfully!
Ohhhhh, ohhhhh, ohhhhhh
Oh so lovely, so lovely…
And the mighty lion roars:
“Once again Spring is here!
The LORD has made it so!
Oh so lovely, so lovely…. beyond compare!”
Oh so lovely, so lovely, so lovely are You LORD,
Beyond compare!
