There is something stirring across our land, even throughout the entire planet.
As I read and see what is happening here, I began wondering some time ago about what is behind it all.
We are not getting into any debate — we don’t do that on this page. As we watch this terrible wave of anger and rage going on in our land, it’s very troubling.
Something’s not right. There is a terrible spirit behind so much of it; a wrath that is out of proportion to the subject. Where is that really coming from?
Many of us have learned these past few years, that we need to pay more attention to what we are being told. In the past, even in many of our church journeys, we now know that some of what we were told, was not necessarily true.
Especially, when you were told to accept many things, and not to question. Trust and obey, no matter what.
And if those informing us were wrong, when we stood before the judgment seat, we would be forgiven, because we had been fully obedient.
There is an answer, if we are willing to look for it and accept it,
“Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath…..” Revelation 12:12b.
And let us take special note to the last part, Revelation 12:12c.:
“Because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
A short time before what? Before the Lord comes back to Earth, with all His host of heaven.
Can you see that this enemy of our souls, is furious. That’s why, uncommon evil and hatred are growing at such a rapid pace.
If we recall the things that Paul said about the last days, there is one word that clearly stands out today. And that’s the word “fierce.”
The way people drive here is what we once called homicidal manics. It’s one thing that they do not care if they injure and harm the lives of others, they don’t care for their own lives either.
Why? And it’s not just driving. People are so aggressive; so pushy, loud and self-driven. We often blame it all on our lifestyle today, running around for this, and chasing around for that.
But I fear it is so much more than even that…..
May I truly say what I feel?
Most of us are not full of hatred toward one another. We are not totally split down the middle as we are being told; everything is not fifty-fifty all the time.
There is no need to talk politics; it’s gone far beyond that. Besides, I am responsible for my own thoughts and way of acting; not about what someone else is saying.
The church could make a big difference in all of that. That is, if we were praying and interceding as we already know how to do.
There is something that too many who say they are in the body of Christ, do not want to hear. Many are suppressing the gifts of the Spirit at an alarming rate. And they are not allowing all of the ministries that God placed in the Church, to fully function.
Does anyone yet realize, that this order, is the checks and balances for the kind of ministry we were meant to have?
It’s a terrible thing, that politics in the Church has helped to thwart this kind of order; helping prevent the true fullness of Christ.
And all this wrath is going to get worse. The scripture says it will. Too many of us have been deceived and distracted; and that is written also.
There is an urgent call from the Spirit; let us hear it. We cannot fight this kind of evil force on our own.
We and all those who are precious to us, will be overcome by an entity, we are not fully paying attention to.
Entertainment, light shows and the delusion of promoting ourselves, will do nothing to stand.
Let the true Church arise. The time is short.
