It’s Time to Step Out — Into the Dung

“Oh, that My People would step out now
into the darkness and bring them out
The Lost and dying are crying out
…for you

Oh that My People would cry out now
Run to the cross, I’d bring them out
and show them love and mercy and grace
…and love

Oh that My People would sing and praise
and with their voices they would raise
a banner of Peace and Love and
…Unity

I want to show up in places dark
For My People to be the spark
that lights the flame that leads to
…eternity

One for all, and all for One
As they sing the Victor’s song
and come together in Me to be
…as One

So humble yourselves, step in the dung
and bring them out, one by one
and I will wash them clean with Love and
…Purity

A soul is waiting for you today
the answer the cry they have made
It reached My Ears and filled My Heart
…with pain

So I send you, My precious one
To the sick and dying, lonely ones
who need new life which only I
…can give

Reach out your hands and pull them up
Feed and clothe them, fill their cup
and be My Hands to wipe away
…their muck

And I will mend their broken bones
Let healing waters flood their soul
so they can go and do the same
…for more

They’re waiting now, I count on you
Go be the light, I’m shining through
your cracked and earthen vessel
…Be Me.
