Still The Same Devil!

“And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood,”   Revelation 12:15.

The same devil that was the dragon is still the same devil that turned into a serpent!

The only enemy of the Church of Jesus is the devil.

He fights the Church through various means and strategies.

First, he came as a ferocious fiery dragon and discovered that the strategy didn’t work out well for him.

Now he has come as that subtle, crafty and deceiving serpent, not to bite, but implore a new strategy: spewing water out of its mouth that the Church maybe carried away or swept away and this is really working well for him.

Come to think of it, isn’t the Church being swept off her feet and carried away by the sermon of materialism?

The crazy crave and the rave of this sermon is invading virtually every pulpit today, making the people less God conscious.

We cannot count how many archbishops, bishops, reverends, pastors and evangelist make this the bedrock of their ministries.

Money!  Money!!  Money!!!  Give!  Give!!  Give!!!  Tithe!  Tithe!!  Tithe!!!

All for their greed!

What about Salvation, Holy Ghost baptism, holiness?

It is therefore my calculated opinion that over 80% of those in ministry are in for the proceeds, not His purpose!

Should we remove tithes and offerings from Church, how many pastors will still be in ministry?

  1. This is why the young people are leaving the church in droves. They’re conscious of the fact they’re being used for money. They incorrectly attribute this to God AND man, but God is perfect and man is the one doing things wrong. These people turn from God because of the church’s actions. Someone has to do something to make it stop. The devil knows this is turning the young folks away from God.
