Expecting to win all the time is not realistic or healthy.

Perfect – Perfection, is only found in Christ.  He does not have to practice or rehearse who “He Is”.

The LORD does not rely on man’s expectation to see Him as a winner.

God introduced Himself to Moses as – “I AM”.

“And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?  And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.”   Exodus 3:13-14.

“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”   Psalm 46:10.

“Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I AM God, and there is none else.”   Isaiah 45:22,.

Try as we may, there is a certain level of perfection we will never accomplish.  That space is reserved for The LORD.

An athlete is not good or successful because he/she has a good workout ethic or puts in much practice.  The perfection comes when they lose a game and realize the limits of human strength.

The best human perfection comes when man fails. Most times that people are void of understanding — is when true wisdom comes.

In all honesty, pride must be dismissed in order to receive God’s restorative Amazing Grace.

A few failures moves us closer to God’s perfect Will.

See “Suffering “as growing new skin for things ahead.

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.  But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”   James 1:2-4.

“Trust in The LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”   Proverbs 3:5-6.

“For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:  But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;  ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.”   2 Corinthians 1:8-11.

“Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.  But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.  To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”   1 Peter 5:5-11.

“Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.  Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.  The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.  Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.  It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.  The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.”   Psalm 119:67-72.
