|The Child:||Abba, I quiet my soul to seek Your face |
I wait on You, not given to haste.
Let patience arise to fill me with desire
To listen for words only You can inspire.
|Abba:||My child, I come to reveal a great truth. |
I AM near as your breath, not far or aloof.
My voice cuts through the gloom, with a thunderous shout
Yet, I whisper in your ear, “Don’t fear or doubt.”
|My hand is extended to you and yours. |
I’ve written your book; I’ll open many doors.
Rise up at My call, I guide you with My eye.
My hand of correction you must never despise.
|The Child:||Abba, I long to follow Your Righteous Way |
Align me with Your plans so I’ll never stray.
Give me a heart to discern right from wrong
I acknowledge, that only to You I belong.
|Abba:||Be alert for the days of shaking have come |
The harvest cycle has in earnest begun.
The tares and wheat are ripe for the picking
I release My glory, your spirit I quicken.
|I’ve trained you in the secret place. |
Now I bring you out to run the good race.
Shaped and formed in the image of the Son
A Warrior Bride revealed shining like the sun.
|The Bride:||May my words and deeds magnify Your name! |
May I run with delight to spread Your fame!
May the world see Your greatness in all that I do!
May my heart be pure; may my love be true!
|Abba:||I grant your petitions and answer your prayer. |
I AM ever with you, so be free of care.
As I rise up in you, the enemy will scatter
You’ll tread down his camp, his citadels to shatter.
|This is the hour for which you were born. |
I’ve prepared your heart, let the darkness be warned.
My Bride is ready and willing to fight
She is My Beloved in whom I delight.
