Emmanuel

He was not just a babe born in a manger; He is Emmanuel! He is with us!

He came to this broken world not to just make an appearance but to enter our mess — and then to stay!

And stay! And stay even longer no matter how messy it gets sometimes.

He will not forsake us at any time!

Our Teacher, our Saviour, Our God who heals and sustains, our God who holds our aching hearts and helps us to hope again, our God who drives out the grief and sorrow when losing a loved one and picks up the broken pieces to mend them, our God who will break every stronghold and cast out every fear with his love.

That is who He is and so much more! That is Emmanuel!

Merry Christmas to each of you from me and my family. I pray the Father just wrap you up in his love and peace.

Praise God!

Abraham praised God beneath the stars even though he didn’t understand how he would ever become the father of Nations.

David praised God in the wilderness even though he didn’t understand why he was running for his life instead of sitting on the throne.

The Israelites praised God with a mighty shout even though they didn’t understand Jericho’s wall would fall without a fight.

I praise him because what I do know about Him.

I know God loves me, and He’ll never leave me. (John 3:16; Hebrews 13:5)

I know He is for me and not against me. (Romans 8:31)

I know God’s Word is true, and His heart is kind. (Psalm 33:4; Acts 14:17)

I remember so clearly a time I lifted my head from a tear stained steering wheel, but I lifted my praises to heaven, and my disappointments soon faded in the shadow of my hope. It felt like I was hanging by a thread, but truly it was the hem of his garment.

I have walked through many things I didn’t understand, I have been in a place where I questioned many things, felt lost and hopeless, and filled with such fear and disappointment.

But the thing is I did not stay in those places and those defeated mindsets. I may not have understood his ways at the time, but he came crashing into the scene of my life and turned it all around.

You may not understand the trial you are walking through right now, but He is working on your behalf.

You may not see it or even feel it sometimes, but your prayers have sounded in the Heavens and everything will fall into place more perfect than you imagined.

That wall will fall, that giant is going down, that promise is on it’s way to your house, the exit to your wilderness is opening up and it is your harvest time.

The LORD will never fit into our finite box of human understanding — but He will always fulfill your infinite need for a Savior.

The Completion Date

I am speaking prophetically over you today:

Your wait has reached the completion date. What looked impossible with man is more than possible with God.

You shall step over the threshold of your miracle. Everything is falling into perfect order and in His Divine Timing.

You are stepping into your Kairos moment! The windows of Heaven have opened!

I Declare uncontainable blessings to pour down.

You are walking in a moment of ” for such a time as this!”

You are in fertile soil where you shall bloom with the fruit of your patient wait.
