The Game Is Almost Over! — 10 Comments

  1. I love the quote and it is so true, we have to die to self everyday.  I love how the Lord put this into a game and that we are to step up to that plate and hit that home run and yes the whole world is watching as the Lord is unfolding the plan.  Hugs Pam

    • Pam, you would not believe how that happened..I was writing about self not crucifying self and went off on more of self focus and suddenly the Lord interrupted me as I was typing from a very old prophecy I was editing for my book and felt to repost some parts of it so appropriate for the self focus in the world and the church today.. He said the World is watching a ‘World Series of games’ and I saw that picture that we had used in a very old prophetic word and He ‘took me out to the ballgame’ as they say and I just went with the flow. He said the whole world is watching! Blessings abundant and Hugs to you, Sandi

  2. AMEN. Lord, help Your body die to self, submit to Your Lead, have Your Mind, and let go of the desire to control. Help us to have & exercise self-control.Thank You that the Kingdom of God shall be established and delivered from the control of the enemy. I ask You to soften hearts, draw others close to You so that we are willing and available at all times to do Your will, to be who You made us to be.  Open the eyes of Your church and teach us how to walk in Your Kingdom authority in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

    • Thank you Tamara for your valuable input and your powerful AMEN of agreement. So shall it be established in His Kingdom. May His Kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Blessings, Sandi Holman

  3. Hey sister good word picture given you. One of my favorite movies is The Natural with Robert Redford and also mighty appropriate
For the moment. An old guy they counted out. A bunch of younger players bought off and lazy. Pretty much sums up what is happening in the world and the church. As I have said the world first and then the church. I agree with you it is time. But just like in the movie they did not see any hope in the old guy. Many are called few are chosen. We have see what the many that say they were called can do the present church. Lest see what the few who are chosen can do for they will not fail They don’t work at it they are naturals. They don’t work at dying to self they have been crucified with Christ and yet they live. Friends will mean a great deal in a moment especially those none would dare to call friends a moment ago.

    • David, thanks so much for sharing your view. I did not see that movie “The Natural” but you sure made me want to see it. We will do it! Yes, many are called but few are chosen is my by line all the time. Friends are friends forever if the Lord’s the Lord of them! Thank you for being my friend. Sandi

    • Good evening, Sherry, thanks for your powerful agreement. What an Awesome God we serve. He deserves our PRAISE! I appreciate your faithful heart. In His love, Sandi
